Today was my first day back to the gym.
I haven't been to the gym in about 3 months, due to pain in my back. Today was my first day back and I actually made it through 25 min on the eyliptical and 50 crunches.
I was sooo tempted to stop at 15 min. I was getting a bit tired, but my husband was still on the weights and I am the stubborn sort who does not want to look bad so I kept pushing myself 5 more min, 5 more mins until I finished the 25 min set. The my husband came over and we did 50 crunches on the physo(sp?) ball. I like it better on the ball cause it doesn't hurt my back. But boy was I feeling it when we were done. LOL I bet I will feel it tomorrow.
I won't get to go to the gym tomorrow cause I am working a 12.5 hour day, but i might try and take the girls I nanny for, on a walk. They have a double stroller I can use.
Friday is my PreOp class at Dr. DeLaTori in St louis. I get my surgery date then. WHoo HOOO!!!
Well got to get to bed, it is gonna be a long day tomorrow.

GOOD job getting back to the gym!! Isn't it a great feeling when you do NOT stop when you feel tired and you end up going further than you thought you could?!?! I've increased my crunches this week and it HURTS to laugh!!! I like that!!!!!!! : ) My fav ab workout has become the one on the bench where you hold on to the bar (over your head) and the bench is stilted to your head i shigher than you feet then you lift your legs together....leg lifts???? Not sure the right term for it but I like this one best. Somehow I always end up with a "wedgie" when I use the ball! lol!
