Accountability: What did you eat Thursday??

I'm having trouble keeping things down! Protein shake- (partial) When I ride in the car it seems I get sick if I drink or eat anything. I was in the car all day! Lunch-Chicken noodle soup (kept it down!) I ate cottage cheese to try and get some protein in 13 g Supper- chicken noodle soup Protien bullet- 3 oz. 42 g Water today (between episodes of nausea) 22 oz I am not doing good! I get so sick drinking sweet stuff. It takes everything I can do to get it down. Any suggestions? I am in awe of the person who had their RNY on the 27th of June and is eating well. My surgery was the 13th and as you can see, I suck at this!

When you are doing that protein bullet, do you drink it all at once?  I thought I heard somewhere that our bodies can only digest about 21 (or so) grams of protein at one time...so most people drink half of it at one time and half of it at another time....

Well it sent before I was done typing... I am not sure about that fact, but I will ask my nutritionist and get back to ya.... As far as what you ate, looks good to me....you are eating good high protein foods....way to go!

Hi Rianne, I think this is a good idea-and I will do my best to post at it when I can: B=6 oz choc protein shake=30 g protein L=6 oz choc protein shake=30 g protein Snack=2 sf popsicles D=3 bites of salisbury steak (couldnt finish) Snack before bed=granola bar 86 oz of crystal light and water

Rianne, I hope you can find somewhere in the scientific literature about how much protein our bodies can absorb at one time.  So far I have never seen it printed anywhere - just heresay I think.  I'd love to find a real source. Breakfast - Grape bullet

Sorry, I got click happy and sent this incomplete AM Snack - SF applesauce Lunch - Small grilled hamburger, no bun               Tomato, onion, mustard               Slice of cheese Snack - Small apple and 1 1/2 T peanut butter Dinner - Cheese/chicken quesadilla - 1/2 Snack - SF popcicle Don't have time to figure out the protein but since the bullet is 42g I think I surely got in at least 65g Hugs, Lana

Looks like you had a lot of good protein in your day.... I will definitely try to get the information on the protein.....where do you buy your bullets??? Yum....I can't wait for food....

2 tbs Oatmeal 1/2 c Oatmeal  = 7g protien chocolate protien shake= 21g protien 1/2c sf skim milk pudding=4g protien chocolate protien shake= 21g protien 1/2 cottage cheese=12g protien total protien today 60g Yeah! I did it! 64oz water and crystal light 6 miles of walking ( I've been at a confrance that requires lots of walking)

hello bkfst choc peanut butter protein shake 23 grams plus milk lunch blue berry shake... dinner....boca burger no bread cabbage 1/2 cup mashed potatoes no butter 2 tomatoes and water all day...need to get a jug that tells me how much i drink congrats on the 2 new upcoming surgeries,,,way to go Sheila   i pasted it here haha but how do i get it here all the time????
