Don't worry....Dr. Christopher A. Edwards, of St. John's Hospital Bariatric Program is NOT transferring or leaving. I confirmed this information directly myself. In fact, there is another Dr. Christopher Edwards but do not know any information on his transferring or relocation, if any.
Our Dr. Edwards in Springfield is here to stay! If you have any questions or would like additional information, feel free to call Mary Trampler, his Bariatric Nurse Coordinator at 820-3800.

No one meant to jump on you at all. We LOVE our Dr. Christopher A. Edwards in Springfield, Missouri. All you saw was the loyalty and appreciation we feel for him whether as his patients, staff members, and me as his support group leader.
You did exactly what you should do and research a possible choice in your surgeon. I encourage my support group members and support group leaders that I train to research surgeons, their bariatric practice in providing post-op care, and OH members that know about a surgeon.
