Can't sleep, nervous about meeting Dr DeLa Torre tomorrow, i

know that is is the make or break one, where he decided if my apnea is too bad or health is too bad for the surgery..   I sure hope it goes ok, i have not met him yet.  My appointment is at 1:00 pm tomorrow...  Its funny, i have been waiting 3 months since the seminar, getting all the testing done, and I am glad I did, now I know I have severe Apnea, and that is getting taken care of.. tried cpap, but they just did a bi pap titration so new machine next week with higher levels...       I will let you all know how it goes, hopefully soon I will be working on the psychiatrist, nutritionist and then end up with a date, hopefully this year :)  Cindy

Hi Cindy! By now, you have had your appointment, so I am hoping all went well. I only know who your dr is as he was one of the presenters at the seminar I attended in February. I have been told he and my doc, Dr. Scott, are the top two drs at UM for bariatric surgery! Am keeping fingers crossed that you will have good news! My surgery is August 6th!  Hugs, LaNeta

I met Dr. De La Torre at my classes and final appointment.  He is a very nice man, tends to talk over your head with a lot of medical terms you may not be familiar with.  Dr. Scott will be my surgion on August 6th. I have also heard that he and Dr. Scott are some of the best around. I hope that all went well and Good Luck! Tina
