Hello to all

I am new to OH, and I am having surgery on August 8th in St. Louis Missouri.  I live in the KC are but decided to have surgery in St. Louis.  I am going to need all the support I can get and I would like to find a free support group in the KC area to attend.  I am also going to be looking for a workout partner.  I live in Lees Summit.   Have a wonderful Day

Countrygirl, I'm new to OH as well. and hoping to be band by the new year. I'm looking to start  working out as well and I live in Lee's Summit. welcome to the Missouri OH board. to Countrygirl and to granny both. and there is a wonderful  new support group being led by Colette Swan that meets the 4th Monday of the month in Lees Summitt.  I will send her an email to her so she can give you both the details.   Jan

Just wanted to pop in and tell you we have a support group right in Lees Summit and the next one will be August 20th at 7:00p.m.  It runs till 830p.m.  Hope you can plan on attending.  Our size is small but growing.  Sometimes we have 8 -9 people there.  Hope you will watch for the announcing of it during the month.It is held at the Baptist Mission Center at 4001 NE Lakewood Way in Lee Summit, Mo.  I drive from Concordia right now to lead it.  Hoping to get someone to help lead it if I run into bad weather during the winter or if my hubby gets ill.  (He isnot in good Health).  I dont know where in Lee Summit live but I take 291 South from I 70 to Woods chapel Road, turn left and go to 2nd stop light and turn left and immediately take the first right into the driveway of the center.  If you have any questions, please call me.   Colette

Hi Countrygirl, How come you jumped over Columbia, Missouri where Del Toro also practices.  Maybe I haven't heard about something, I'm having surgery in a couple of weeks at the University.... BobM.
