I had my surgery Wednesday with Dr. Edwards and all went GREAT!  For those of you that are waiting...it is worth it.   I did the two weeks pre-op and survived just fine.  I admit, the night before surgery I had ice cream.....shamey but Dr. Edwards said everything was perfect and it went like a text book case.  45 minutes after I got out of recovery I was on my way home.  It took more time waiting to have the surgery than to actaully have it and recover.  I am a little sore in the belly but nothing horrible.  I expected it to be a lot worse.  I  think I did over do it yesterday running around town and I slept more today  but I still made it to Barnes and Nobles, Best Buy and of course,  Wal-Mart.  I think tomorrow we are going to walk around the car show here in Republic and then maybe the fair in the evening.   I have not been hungry and my hubby is having to remind me to eat....threatening me with my hair falling out helps.  The two weeks pre-op was a lot of jello and pudding!  LOL  The soups from the Healthy   Weight Supermarket are good too....  I got lots of different  protein drinks to mix up my flavors  and that helps.   If I can survive it, so can everyone else.  Also, juts wanted you to know that after the surgery isn't that bad.  Doing a lot of belching today but that is about it!   Jennifer  Republic, MO
