Hello?

I dont think that I am getting much from this website. Wrong information on the WLS support group meetings. When I go into the chat rooms there is always 3 or more people talking about their weekend together.

Are you going to the main board or the MO board?  I have found that I get more out of coming to this board then any other one on this site.  I am even from Kansas not MO but I perfer this board the people are more supportive and I feel more welcome here.  I would encourage you if you haven't been coming to this board to give it a chance you will meet a lot of great people.  If you are interested there is a support group in Less Summit I think the next one is Mon. Aug. 20th but don't quote me on the exact date but I can get it for you would love for you to join us since you live in Belton that's not too far.  Let me know if there is anything we can do to help you feel more at home here.

sorry you feel that way. What support group are you wanting to know about. There are several in the State. The one i go to is in Springfield, and is Called The Circle of Friends. So maybe they were telling you about the one they attend and not the one you wanted to know about.  I can never find anyone on the Missouri chatroom unless everyone has made an appointment to go into there for some reason. Hope you will come back and let us get to know you. Jan

Yes, please come to the support group meetings in Lee Summit. Don't give up on this board. I dropped out of site for a while since I was in a stall and down, but I am back. You can't find a better place to be.  I have been dying to meet you at the meetings, so please come next time. OK?

I tried to this past meeting but the instructions were wrong. Remind me when the next meeting is and I will try to make it.

Here are some directions and a cell phone # of Tony. He is the one who got us the room at the Church. The building does not look like a Church but is easy to find.  Watch the board on the Wed. prior to the meeting date. Colette always posts on Wed about the meeting.

directions coming from ((I-70 to 291 South go about 3 or 4 miles to Woods Chapel Rd exit,make a left back over the bridge to the second light and another left at that light onto the outerbelt Rd,should be the second building on the right with alot of tinted windows)).
