Well, my trip to Mexico was amazing......I wasn't able to post so I will update my profile this eveing with all the details, but the blanket of prayers I was covered with made this a fairly easy road so far.  My surgery went very well, it was a week ago monday and I told the nurses no more pain meds wed afternoon and I haven't had anything since...so much better than I had prepared myself for.  I am done with the week of clear liquids post op and had some soup last night that was just amazing, and I had some more of it today with no problems!  The only problem I am having, and I know it is totally normal is water. I got very dehydrated coming home yesterday, and I am gaining some ground, but plain water is a little (a lot) hard to get down and I am so tired of sweet stuff like crystal light, but that will all work out...I am sipping and sipping.

I feel really good, not alot of enegry yet, but I keep reminding myself that I was all rearranged a week ago and my body will take a little time to heal! Check out my profile later and I will try to have it updated!  Thanks again for all your prayers! Amy

Dear Amy, I am so glad that you are home and everything went well!! YAY. I was with Mel when she got the call from Tammy telling us you were out of surgery and everything went ok-what a relief~ I am so glad this part of the journey is over for you and sincerely hope that we can get a support group going in our area-and hopefully can meet you one day-because you have an amazing story to tell and you are such an inspiration to so many-because even when it looked like a dead end-you never gave up. We were praying for you-and will continue to pray for a speedy and uneventful recovery-and please, if you need ANYTHING, please email me-I live close-maybe we could exchange phone numbers-I get to your area often as my husband works on the square and I take my 4 yr old to Big Springs Park a couple of times per month-Would love to meet such an inspirational person and give you a hug!!!  Take care Amy, and hope to hear from you soon. All my love and prayers, Janet
