Hi I read your post about your husband and the nerve ablation. I am having that done on Aug 8. I have tried the shots and they just didn't work for me. My doc said there is not any other side effects than with having the shots and that it should last from 6 months to 2 yrs. I sure hope it works and I will let you know after I have it done on the 8th.

I'm anxious to hear about this 'nerve ablation', my husband has been getting the shots with some but not enough success.  He was at the pain clinic today and all they mentioned as a next step was surgery - which my DL quickly said no to.  Let me know how it goes so I can pass it along as an option for my hubby.

I will let you know how it goes. I have been putting it off because since the shots didn't work, I am afraid this won't work either but I will never know unless I do it. I think I am just nervous about having those needles put in my back. I have to say Dr Street is very good and there is hardly any pain. It will be wonderful if it works. From what I have read just like the shots it doesn't work on everyone but I am trying to think positive...

Beverly, Thanks so much.  I'll be anxiously awaiting information from you after the procedure.  It is good to get as much feed back as possible.  I agree, you have nothing to lose but the pain.  I'll be praying for you. Hugs, Lana
