WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY
Guess there is no need to say it but it sure did get hot again today. We got the rafters and the studs for the walls of the shed done today. So all we have left to do is put on the roofing and the siding and we will have it done. Then we are going to build a low shelf inside to put all of my Christmas decorations on , they are all in those big plastic bins. The ones that aren’t will be soon. I went and bought 3 more the other day. Need to buy a big long one for the Christmas tree. Then the shed can easily become Joes workshop again.
We worked outside until around 6 and sat and rested some and when I came in the house I remembered I was suppose to go to a meeting at Hanes this afternoon at 7pm well im not going to make it , it seems lol. Will call the manager and tell her what happened.
I just forgot and im dirty and sweaty so by the time I get a shower and get over there it would be half over or more. Besides, Big Brother comes on in a little while , no excuse because I have it set to record it if im not here but oh well.
Well wouldn’t you know it for some reason the satellite decided to go out .Just another reason in my opinion to get rid of dish and go just with an antenna. We only watch the local channels anyway so why pay 30 a month for something , for nothing.
Makes me very angry when it does this.
Well enough of the ranting about something so trivial. Lol
DEBBIE M: Well I see we are all in agreement about not contacting the daughters mother in law. It would only serve to make matters worse and could come back to bite you in the butt. Since we know how much things can get changed around in re-telling.
Yes as far as the new test they are going to do on the lump we are going to believe that it will be alright . Like I said before we are in one agreement that it is nothing and that all will be ok. WE will all continue to pray for you till there is nothing left to pray for.
RACHAEL: So glad to hear from you , So you are thinking of taking up residence at your work, well that would save on wear and tear on your car and since the price of gas is so much that would be a plus too . lol

Yeah im like Janet I don’t know of a specifiy Coke store in Branson, but the 5 and 10 does have stuff there. I was only in there once a long time ago so not sure what they have now. But it is easy to find and when you are here for the reunion. You can make a trip to the store.

I can imagine what the other stores were like yesterday. It was wild with us working and the Mall wasn’t as crowed as other places were I know.

Yes the only plant I would worry about getting into the ground right now would be the Iris if you have any , plant them and water them every few days so they start taking hold and start greening up.
Tulips and lilies can wait to be planted by next month or so. As long as the ground doesn’t freeze on you . lol
That is amazing that Darrell is being helpful with Jon, remember you complaining about him and how he made life miserable for Jon before.
Well I sure stocked up on undies yesterday. 10 new bras and 18 new pair of panties. A new robe, a new dress an 2 new pair of bike shorts that I use for swimming since it helps hide the sharpie

VESTA: wow you are doing really well. At the last meeting you were only down like 80 pounds weren’t you? And you have lost 10 this month that is good.. You may be to the 100 mark by the next COF meeting on the 20th you have 2 weeks.
On the going problem. I take 3 flax seed tabs, 3 omega 3 fish oil and 3 senekot( generic) this is the combination that works for me , you might need more or less, I started with one of each and worked my way up to this combo that works. Senekot is a natural veg. lax so it is easy on the digestive system. Not harsh or habit forming.
But do call Dr. H. and see what he recommends. Ok and let us know if it is something better than the natural route I take. Ok?

Dear Jan and OH Peeps~
Another Monday-ARGH....Its my least favorite day, thats for sure. Yesterday was a lazy day here. Much too hot towards afternoon to be outside. Had Jon and Darrel out for a bit-but only lasted about 45 min and then Mike brought them back in the house. They were racing Mike and I's RC electric cars on our track-but we had them only turned on 50% so they could control them-LOL AND so we wouldnt get broken parts. YAY, no broken parts (that I know of yet).... I really wanted to race too-but as history would have it this past week-towards noonish time, I got sick again...I am getting frustrated, cause I just cant shake this. I get totally nauseated and I am zapped of ANY energy. Not sure what that means, I HOPE and pray its just a bug and nothing more serious. Dont want to deal with anything else right now!
Mike really hurt himself. In fact, he is wearing BOTH braces on his knee, the slide on one and then on top of it-the heavier duty one with the velcro straps that go across it. He woke up on and off ALL night long groaning and moaning and not able to stretch it or move it in any way. Damn!! I have been trying to get him in to have his surgery since I recovered from my WLS, but he has been so dang busy and understaffed at work-that he has just been dealing with it. He said this may be it-he will be calling the ortho doc to make an appt. If he waits long enough, maybe he and I can be roomies at the hospital and have our knees done at the same time. Dr. E and his staff always tell us that Mike and I are his all time favorite patients and so Im sure he would put us in a room together!!
I didnt get Steph out to go school shopping yesterday because she had to work and since they were so crowded-she didnt even get done until 3 pm and by then I felt too sick to go anywhere, ecspically to the mall to fight those idiots. I HATE the mall.... And its really not because of my weight or shopping issues I had before, I just dont like going. I have lived here for 20 yrs and can count on both hands how many times I have actually been to the mall to walk around or whatever. Of course, I am not counting Chuck E. Cheese-they are at the mall-but have an outside entrance~
Im not sure what happened, but I have misplaced the schedule pick up dates for the school and the paperwork I had together for Stephs counseling sessions. So, I will have to call those places today and get the info I need. I cant believe I cant find it. I know that today one kid gets their schedule and tomorrow the other-but not sure which day is for whom and what times and then I have Mikes b-day on Tues and then on Thurs we have Stephs counseling. I hate having busy weeks and lots of appts. I used to be gone 10 hrs a day between my job and daycare pick ups and drop offs. I used to either work through lunch or run errands and usually stop at the store for something during the week and dont feel as overwhelmed as I do now when I have a busy week-figure that one out!!
I cant wait to see how Bev does with the nerve burning in her back. I have been praying for her-that it works. I really hate to see people in pain!! I also hope it works because so many of us could benefit from something like that-and for it to be on an outpt basis and if it gives us any kind of long term relief, it would be a wonderful option. I know it wont "fix" my back and that ultimately, I will still need spinal surgery-I would love for it to be a "quick fix" if it gives me at least a couple more months and gets me through to next year sometime, maybe when the kids get out of school for summer break next year-that would be great!! Then, so many other people on our board or related to people on our board would be benefited too-like Joe (Jans hubby), John (Lanas hubby), Susan and me.....Am I forgetting anyone? LOL...Sure that I am!
I still didnt get to talk to Mel or Susan yesterday...I was sick, but they didnt call me either, so not sure if they are doing alright or not. I sure hope so. Terry must still be sick-but I hope that Mel didnt catch it. She goes to see ortho doc today-so she should, I hope-have some results. I hope so-and I hope and pray its not bad news.
So, as soon as I get done with this post, I have to make those calls and then get chores done, pets fed and watered and get geared up for some errand running. We have to go get Mikes b-day stuff...the present and then the boys are going to make a cake or something-pie or cheesecake-not sure yet-but we are going to take it to his work tomorrow to share with everyone-and then have something here for after dinner, made by the kids. Mike will like that. I invited Megan and Aaron for dinner tomorrow night and swimming, but Meg works evenings and Aaron has been working overnites at Lowes and then part time days at Pizza Inn-so they wont be able to come.
**Jan-I WISH we would get the local channels with an antenna-but we dont get anything but static without the dish. Our has been losing signal a lot more the past month than it ever has before. We don****ch a lot of the local channels except for the morning news and Good Morning America and then evening news-thats about the extent of our local channel watching.
I didnt know you ever lived in Minnesota-no wonder I like you so much-LOL....I still have over 1/2 my family and friends up there and so far-everyone has checked in and is doing good. Im so glad~but I feel so sad about the tradegy and the people who were injured or lost their lives and their loved ones. I have been praying for them. I know it affects a lot of people when things like this happen and Its always in the back of my mind-like the guy who was talking to his wife and she was telling him what a bad day she had-and then the bridge collapsed and she passed away. How awful~
Well, I guess I will plan on doing some planting this month and get those iris's in the ground. Have to figure out where to put them-so I have a ~~~~Flower Question for ya~~~ Up my driveway (more towards my house) I have 4 fruit trees-do you think it would be okay to plant them along the driveway-but they would get some shade from the fruit trees? Or do they need to be in the complete sun? Actually, could ask the same question about the tulips-I would love to put them on the north side of my house-but it is shaded over there more than 1/2 the day-would that be ok? I have a flower bed over there-used to have strawberries there-but nothing since-(rabbits and other animals were getting into them) Would tulips be okay there? Or should I put the tulips next to the fruit trees that line the driveway and put the iris's next to the house? Let me know.
**Vesta- that stuff they gave you in the ER-more than likely it was magnesuim chloride-and to this day-that IS what I take. I take about 2 tsp-1/2 bottle when I need it. It works within 1/2 hr or so-and then no problems and is less than 1.50 anywhere you get it. All pharmacies carry it. It comes in different flavors too-I always get the one that is like Sprite or the orange. I have always used it-even before surgery and have recommended it to others-who have all had good results. Good Luck and I hope it works for you.
**Nutti-Im sorry about your hip! I hope that it gets better without any medical interventions. Please keep us posted. You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers.

We have Sug having gallbladder surgery today-dont we have someone having wls as well? Seems I read that somewhere, but cant remember now. Tomorrow Bec is having her gallbladder surgery. We also have Sherrs mom having knee surgery and Amandas mom having knee surgery (both replacements ) as well. The surgeries were talked about after I had my calender for this month already done and I meant to go in and add to it, but never got around to it-so maybe I will throw a post out there to check on everyone and make sure they have angels and all of that-Please keep Sug and Becky in your prayers and anyone else who is embarking on surgeries this week...... Alright, I am off here and getting my day started. I hope everyone has a good day and everyone will update on how our MO Board loved ones are doing after surgery. Love and Prayers to all, Janet
