Momma Blondie's Knee Surgery UPDATE

Mom should get to leave this morning! YEAH!  It has been one hell of a time. the woman in the next room to her, fell in the restroom and was screaming....I went to her and she had broken her shoulder and possibly her neck in the fall....She had landed head first into the tile shower wall...  [e7]

She asked me to pray for her and not leave her :(  I am ready to go HOME!!!

My mom is doing well, she'd do better if she'd take the pain SHOTS, but she is  a scardy cat....lol I have seen two people from the geriatric area of floor #2, that passed over and were in body bags, and there was a FIRE yesterday, in the surgery FLOOR!!!   THey shut off the air conditioner (((yes, that's what I said)))) for 3 hours :(  But we are getting out of here and that is the most important thing.... I will have to take her for bloodwork twice a week and physical therapy 2 days a week for a WHILE....But, I really think she will end up better... NOW, can you believe this is the BEST hospital in the AREA :( THANK YOU ALL for the sweet, lovely notes, she got them on Wed, and I read them to her!!!  Really lifted her spirits..... Sherr

Sherr... So glad your moms doing well....It's wonderful you could be there for her like that....And wow...where was it she had her surgery??? Sounds like those people need to do a much better job!!! Please tell you mother she is in my prayers and that I hope she has a smooth and speedy recovery!!.... Hugs...Tammy~ammy
