WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY.

Hey guys this is going to be a short note as I just got home from work. I had a lady come in the store tonight that had gastric bypass surgery on june 1^st and had lost 30 pounds and needed some new bras. So I sold her 3 of them. One for right now and another two for a little bit later. When she pulled up her shirt to be measured I saw her stab wounds on her stomach  and I ask her what sort of lap surgery she had done. Lol

Very tireing night. Lot of work for 2 people , they just seem to think that this other lady and I can do it by ourselves. My head is hurting lol

JANET: so glad that the session went well for you and Steph yesterday. What about this boy friend of hers. You got rid of one of them so did you get rid of this one. Lol

Thanks have you started doing the rain dance yet? Please hurry. I think Im going to run the well dry with all the watering I am doing. Lol.

Well if you don’t have anything to do this Wed come on over for the birthday party and you can have your own water gun. Lol

Sounds like maybe you and Steph might be able to repair some of the damage that has been done. Will certainly be praying for that to happen.

SUSAN: Yes Susan they can repair ulcers. Depends on what kind of ulcers according to the treatment of them. Hopefully you learn what your gall bladder test showed soon.

What are you taking for your ulcer ? Might want to take that first thing in the morning and wait for awhile till it has time to work before you put the rest of your meds down . ok?

I know I hope a lot of people will come to the reunion that just post. I have a feeling that there wont be a lot at this first one but maybe by next year when they hear how much fun we had…….well….

Oh Elephant ears. Lol yes they will live in all day sun , they like lots of water too. Like watered every few days. I wwill take a picture of me standing under some of mine tomorrow and put it on my profile page. They are taller than I am I think. We will see anyway ok. I have always dug them up every fall till last year when someone told me that they never dug theirs so I didn’t , I just covered them with about 4 to 6 inches of straw and they have come back bigger and better than ever before.

I think the elephant ears would be beautiful across the front of your house. You buy the bulbs in the spring at a garden center and the first year you need to plant them like in April or May. After that when you have the frst frost that make the leaves get black you just cut them off and then let the stem dry out some where you cut it off. After the stem drys you pile about 4 to 6 inches of straw and cover it. Lol

Lol I guess that is one way to russle up some money , encourage someone to break the law and then charge them to help get them  out.

TAMMY: Yeah you want to come to the birthday party too.? Like Janet I will give you your own gun too. Lol

Yeah you will be back to work in no time at all soon. Probably by next summer.

Better watch what you ask for you may just get it. Lol

I know I wonder myself how come so many lurk and not post like trying to eat cake without getting any icing…

LANA: lol yeah I thought you might like all dem rabbits. Lol  You can expect the first load as soon as I set all of those trap that we have. You can soon go buy your first 50 pounds of rabbit food. Lol

I know I too think Janet has done a bang up job of getting all the reunion stuff together and done for us.

I think she has come up with some wonderful things to do too. Great going Janet.

Good Morning Jan and OH Family~

I sincerely hope that everyone is staying safe in this heat-In fact, I have been praying about it-because I know for the past 2 days of running in this heat-that IF I wasnt 177# lighter than last year at this time-I would be in the worst shape right now. Please be safe and like Susan said in yesterdays post-IF you know someone who doesnt have air-please check on them right now-maybe bring them some ice-and you can open a cooler, put the ice in it-and put a fan in front of it-it feels better than the constant hot air blowing on them! I remember last summer keeping my air on 70-73 max, and even went up to 75 in August when we got almost a $400 elec bill-but now I keep it on 76 and 78 most days and when I am going to be gone-I put it on 80-cause trust me, when I come in from outdoors-it still feels good for a bit!  So-YAY for the weight loss!! Its saving me money on the elec bill this summer-I used to keep it sooo cold that everyone else would gripe they were too cold and I would even put a fan on me-on top of it being 70 in this house-LOL....I see now where they were coming from last summer!! The boys and I went and ran our errands yesterday. Man, we were soooooo hot-when I got home and checked the pool temp to go in-the water didnt even feel good-it was too hot-90!! Yeah, we would have been wet-but not cool. So-we put the hose in it-which it needed anyway-because the water is evaperating. That took it down a bit-but we didnt get in until last night when the sun started to go down. They say once someone has heat stroke, they are more suseptible (sp?) to getting it-and since Jon and Mike both have had heatstroke and sunstroke-I am very cautious when I have to have the little guy outside with me. I always put a big old bottle of frozen water in the truck when we leave AND he has most of it drank by the time we get home. I had a MAJOR WOW moment yesterday-I had to go to the bank and cash a check-and I usually do everything on line-well, anyway-I went to the bank and sent my license in with the check and the lady came up on that little tv screen and looked at me and I saw her looking down at the license and then 2 minutes later-she was standing there with another person and they were both looking at me-and it didnt hit me right away until the other lady said "Janet?" "Is Janet with you?" OMG~YAY YAY YAY....I said-Im Janet.....I explained that since that pic was taken, I have lost 177# and I can send in a before picture if you want and you can see-they cashed it-which was only $20 anyway!!! So, I guess its time to update my drivers license pic-told Mike I would be in REAL trouble IF I cut my hair short or got another color-LOL-they would NEVER believe it was me...... So-we had our company out last night. Just did burgers and then swam. When they left-Mike, the boys and I were still in the pool, just floating around watching the stars-it was so nice and relaxing!!! I may do that more often. I dont get in at night until someone does snake patrol with the spotlight to make sure we dont have visitors we cant see!! Im very very excited about all the reunion ideas and offers of help-which I WILL be taking people up on. I will be sending out a post about the items that need to be donated and then to advise on the games we have decided on and such-so I think the chatroom JUST about the reunion is a great idea AND/OR having a 3 way call-or however we do it-Im just excited to have all the offers of help. Watch for posts. Will try to do at least one tomorrow-ok? Ok-I need to get this post done because we are getting ready to head to town and get our stuff out of storage and pick up the furniture I bought for $35 and then come home and swim with all my kids. Im so excited about today. My girls have not been getting along since the beginning of July really-lots to do with my mom and etc-so I talked to both daughters yesterday and they are willing to give each a break and start over and so the girls will be here-and Stephs b-friend and Megans hubby!!! ALL my kids together-first time in a LONG time-Im so so so excited!! We have to meet Mel and Terry-they are letting us use their trailer and Kia to get a load of furniture taken to the garage which will host the sale-which I wanted to do next weekend-but there is no relief in sight as far as the heat-so maybe will wait another weekend-have to do it by the end of this month, however, or you wont be seeing me at the reunion because I just wont have the money to go if I dont have the sale. **Jan-Ok-I have some elephant ears here to plant-should I wait now until April or May? Let me know. I will wait for your answers first. The session with Steph was great and I am praying for some success, thats for sure. I have met this b-friend, his name is Cory and so far-I REALLY REALLY like him. However, I havent had any REAL time with him-so today, I guess, will determine how much we really like him-LOL...Of course, I WILL let you know. LOL..... I would come to that party in a heartbeat if I had something economical AND reliable to drive there, to help the little guy celebrate-PLUS the boys have these HUGE super soakers-so I could hold LOTS of water-LOL.... **Tammy Ammy-Im sorry I missed your call, we had company last night and I didnt take the phone outside with me so we could all talk. Im sorry. I am so glad that Christa is okay and I will say prayers that it stays that way. Thanks for the offers of help-I WILL take you up on that-so does that mean you WILL be coming FOR SURE? At least for the day? I still wanted to put you in charge of the awards-the ones you were gonna print out? We will get together on that IF you know you will be coming-ok? You have to throw yourself out there though and be willing to share and etc-and some people just arent that way. They dont know that they are missing, thats for sure-this place is like family-and a lot of you have become MY family and wouldnt trade you for a million dollars or a new car-LOL-not even a cute fast sportscar. GOOD MORNING MISSOURIANS AND FRIENDS! I really hoped everyone read the AAADD post I made.  My brother sent this to me, and as you can see he knows me pretty good!  Now I know why I dont get anything ever done, lol!  Well I started on here about 730 this morning and the dogs got their legs crossed and need to be walked.  I better go before they do!!

Does anyone know what happened to Belanna.  If your out there please let us know how you are doing!  I hope everything is okay.

JAN I am sorry that your hurting, I hope that this morning you are feeling much better.  I wish that you had some extra help to help at work. I was taking prescription Zantac right before surgery for some small ulser problems, but it was just 150mg once a day.  Natalie has me up to 300mg twice a day now.  She called me out some kind of medicine you drink I think, but it is $150.00 and my stupid insurance wont pay for it until they do the endoscopy (sp) on the 14th.  I asked Natalie since I had problems before couldnt I just have my Primary Doc call it in for me and she said no they would only pay when Doctor Scott could show forsure it was Ulsers.  Kinda stupid if ya ask me but they will know soon enough.

On the gallbladder thing, I told them I didnt think that it was my gallbladder because it hurt more in back than in front but I have to wait 10 days for results.  I am feeling like a new person the last two days the pain has almost completely quit in the front and the back so I am really happy.  Its just the tummy thing now.  YEAAAAAAAAAAAA!! On those elephant ears, okay call me dumb.  I thought this lady had big ones but if you can stand under them, my neighbors are just babies, lol!!  Wow that is really big!  Thank you so much, I have been trying to figure out what the heck to put in there and they sound like they will work great.  I am learning so much from you, I would hate for you to see my yard, not one flower and I hate it.  I have lived in my house for 12yrs and most of my neighbors are retired and have the most beautiful yards, I have always been so jelious!  I still cant belive that both of my pineapple plants you gave me are looking good, amazing!  Thanks again! JANET Had to laugh about the air and the fan thing.  I used to do the same thing to Rory last year, poor guy was running around with a sweatshirt at night.  Between being overweight and he hot flashes he didnt stand a chance!!  I am starting to notice a change since the surgery.  I had never used a blanket at night just a sheet always.  Now I sometimes have to not only use a blanket a few times a week I have to get up and get a heavy comforter! Wow on the Wow moment!  I hope that happens to me soon.  177 lbs is so fantastic I am so proud of you.

It is so great about Steph and Megan!  It makes things so much better when everybody is trying together.  As far as your mom I think that what you are doing is definatly the right thing by just ignoring her and not answering the phone!  I know you love her but you have to do the right thing for your family at home and if she doesnt get that, its her loss!  You are a great mom and she is lucky to have such good grandkids!  I know I feel in love with them all while I was visiting!!  If she doesnt see what she is doing to Steph then that is

her fault not yours you have to do whats best for them!!  Love ya! TAMMY~AMMY I was so glad to hear that Crista was okay!  It is so hard when they are little and hurt and you have to watch and cant do anything to help.  Sounds like she is going to be just fine.  With all that singing maybe american idol better watch out, lol!  I know you told me you all were going to beat up the stupid guy for not paying attention to what he was doing so if you need a Bondsmen, I'll be right there!  Hope he gets in big trouble for not doing his job around children.  Glad to hear he had no alcohol or drugs in his system!  Take care.

TAMMY C Welcome to the losers bench.  Sounds like you are doing really well!  How is the back feeling.  Hope ya got some rest.  I know it sounds crazy but I have less pain with my back and legs when I sleep in a hospital's bed, weird huh?

ERIN How are you feeling girl?  I hope you are doing well!  Just wanted to say hello, I miss ya on the board. I know I left out some, but whew it is sure taking along time to post to everyone!  Lately I have been going into work an hour an a half early just to read emails and post here!  Dont get me wrong its worth it forsure, but I just dont type as fast as I used to and I forget so much I have to keep rereading your post, lol!  Everyone have a great weekend and a safe one!
