I'm home and sitting on the Loser's Bench

Thanks everyone for your good wishes and prayers during my Wednesday surgery.  I was discharged today at 12 noon and happy to be home and feeling fairly decent. Rebecca had passed along that I was in quite a bit of pain right out of surgery, would you believe that most of that was not from the surgery site but instead my back.  I could not find a comfortable position to lay that would take the pain away.  The pain pump did help things out once I started using it more regularly.  I have put a hot pack on it since returning home and that seems to be helping it out. I worked hard to get my liquids in and get over that initial pain associated with filling the pouch for the first few times.  I'm now sipping water without any issues. I'm off to bed for a full-nights sleep hopefully, thanks again everyone for your support. Tammy C.

TAMMY C Welcome to the losers bench.  I hope that you are feeling good.  I am glad that you are well

enough to get on and let us know how you are doing.  As for your back I can relate forsure!

If the heat dont help try one of those soft icepacks in the freezer.  Heat dont dont it for

me anymore but ice helps lots!  Hope it might help.    Susan

Hey, Tammy!   Glad to hear that you are home and on the loser's bench!  I'm an ice pack fan-----I love my ice packs for back pain or for headaches---it does wonders for me. I hope you are feeling back to perky soon. Beca St. Louis----I'm not far away from you----I grew up in St. Charles county!
