WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

No end in sight from this heat wave. I don’t know whether to keep watering and barely keeping my plants alive or just let them go and quit worrying about them. You know I cant do that, I know I cant do that. Just wont work. I might lose some of them but it wont be from lack of trying.

 

The Cedarcreek fire dept this afternoon had a cookout down at the lake. We went down and I tried to eat some of the food. And got sick as a dog. Had to run and get behind our truck and throw up , don’t know if it was the meat, brautworst, or the heat or what it was but I got so sick and then we went home and I was sick again, and went to sleep afterwards, I felt so weak and awful. Couldn’t hold my head up. It was the worst I have ever done. Don’t know if it was dumping but if it wasn’t I sure don’t want to dump.lol

I really don’t think it was but I was sick for about 3 hours.

 

Took the great grandson to town this morning and got him a haircut. He looks so cute. Wasn’t the first one he has had but it had been a long time since he had one. He did really good so I took him to the dollar store and bought him a ball he really wanted .

When the barber was using the clippers on him he was just giggling, I guess it was tickling.

 

I told Joe I would help him get the rest of the shingles on the shed tomorrow morning if he would get up at daylight because it will be way too hot by noon. I have all of the plastic tubs already out of the work shop and into the storage shed. So he is getting his work shop straightened out soon.

 

 

TAMMY: wow I know you were scared to death about your daughter and granddaughter. Is your daughter ok too? How does the grandbaby look today?She may never want to ride anymore rides ever again. I am so glad that it wasn’t any worse than it was. Is Jeannie the step mother? How is she doing?

Did they close down the tilt a whirl?

 

 

RACHAEL: Sounds like you have been working so much since you came home from vacation that you may need another vacation before long.  Hope things settle down soon and you don’t have to be so rushed .

 

Lol take care of the monster, two years olds sure can remind you of one cant they? If you figure out what to do during that stage you might become rich writing that book.

 

 

JANET: Isnt so much better now that we don’t have to have the A./c on 65 lol. I know I use to freeze everyone out. unless it was another fat chick. Lol

Yeah we were going to go swimming in the lake and it was aawful. I thought we would go cool off and all it was was wet like you said. We didn’t stay long . beside too many boats on the lake on the week ends. We usually let the week enders have the lake on weekends. We have it all week by ourselves so I guess it is fair.

 

Wow that was a major wow moment about the bank. From seeing your before pictures and now there is a big difference. You don’t look like the before picture at all.

 

I bet it was nice at night in the pool wasn’t it? So how did the get together go today?

So you like the stalker huh? How did they meet? How old is he?  I am excited that Steph is trying it seems. Hopefully she wants to feel better as much as everyone wants her to feel better. Keep praying for her I will too. Oh yeah where is Cory from that he moved to Joplin ?

 

I am getting excited about the Reunion too. And you know if you need any help on anything that I can do let me know. I already have my gifts bought for the white elephant sale. Except it isnt a white  elephant is that ok?

 

Yes on the elephant ears (did you get them at a white elephant sale?) wait now and plant them in the spring. Just keep them somewhere that they wont get moist and rot this winter.

 

I thought about getting Brendan one of the large water soakers but I think he is too little to handle it right now. They look as big as he is. Lol

I just got little water guns for the party and some water balloons .

 

 

SUSAN: Yes I read your post on AAADD, I know I have that lol. That is the way most of my days go , I know I accomplished a lot because I am really tired at the end of the day lol.

No haven’t heard anything from Belanna don’t know why some just come and go so fast. I really miss a lot of them.

 

I have the elephant ears all over the place here. Some of them are just nice size plants and some of them are huge. Ones on each side of the backporch are thebiggest I think. I had Joe measure me against the biggest ones tonight and the tallest one is about 6 inches taller than me. But then im not real tall lol. Any way they like sun and lots of water. I had one one time in Texas that was planted at the end of our trailer house by a hydrant that dripped a little all the time. The thing got as tall at the trailer and Joe couldn’t reach across one of the leaves. It was huge. I guess they say everything is big in Tex that elephant ear really proved it to me.

Howdy Yall.... What a beautiful day!!!! I spent the day stealing all the kisses and hugs I could get from my lil Princess!!! I have been thankful for tons of things but today I don't there was a second I didn't feel thankful that the Good Lord allowed Christa to make it thru her little accident with no more than she recieved!!!!!  She got so used to me grabbing and loving on her today that when Joe and I had her in the pool she realized I hadn't kissed her in a bit so she said...." Nannie I give you more mouchies if you want some" LMBO!! She told me countless times today she wuvied me today too lol lol...... Jan....Yes Jeanie is the step-grandmother....She is married to Ada's dad....Ada was on the ground watching so she was not hurt except for the terrifing shock of seeing it happen!! She said Christa screamed sooo loud you could hear her over all the noise of all the people talking and over all the rides going!!!  And we were shocked as all get out that she didn't have any more bruising than she had this morning when we woke up!!! She has a little chunk of meat out of her right cheek and some scratching around it and a small amount of discoloration and she has black & blue marks on the back of her right thigh and that's it!!! Everyone she seen today she told them about the wilter world running over her lol lol lol.... As for the rides...she was yelling about going back while we were at the hosptial.....And last night when we were done at the hosptial Joe brought her back to the house to get her ready for bed and we went to the fair grounds to let the man know what all they said at the ER and to get all his info for the hosptial bills....He said bring her back and anything she wanted was on him...So Jeanie and Mike took her back up there this afternoon, but she was only put on the kiddy rides! Eat tons of cotton candy and got to play all the games all she wanted!..... And no the did not shut the ride down....the ride was ok, the retard running was the issue.... Well it got late on me before I managed to get on to post so I will close for now...If I get a chance I will give everyone a yell tomorrow sometime... Luv yuns all...Have a great Sunday...  Good morning Missouri..... Well we survived another sweltering day...we did not even leave the house...at least my children and I didn't...Got some housework done and will continue today with the housework but with the laundry...Need to get all Dalton's stuff clean for school and get my uniforms done so I can be at work at 3am all this week...

Jan C., you are right I do need a vacation....my friend that used to work with me, her and I are going to take a weekend getaway and go to Eureka Springs....so now I am going to say every little penny I can to go on that getaway...I may have to write a book on how to tame that "monster" of mine.....she is so sweet sometimes and then she is a complete monster on other times....oh well, I love her just the same....

Dear Jan and OH Peeps~ Good Sunday Morning to you all~Of course, its a shining, hot day already.....wi**** would be at least cool in the mornings, but its not even that anymore-YUCK-O...! Yesterday, I was so stinkin busy and so hot that a couple of times-I wanted to RUN full blast over to the pool and hop in with ALL of my clothes on!  Mike and I were up very early-but had to wait for storage to open and wait to get the kids picked up etc. We went to town, and we had 45 min to waste before storage opened-we couldnt find the little deal they give you with our code on it-(have only been to storage MAYBE 3 times!) Ok-so it had been in the glovebox of my Santa Fe-and when we cleaned it out to give it back-I had no clue where I put it! Mel and Terry met us at storage with their Kia and trailer. We loaded that and my truck up and took it over to her garage for the sale. Then we headed over and got the new couch and chair loaded-then the kids and I stopped at storage to get a load to come home....got home and we waited for about 1/2 hr so we could cool off-then we went and got in the pool for abt 1/2 hr and then I got a call from Mel, she had been waiting in town for me to be done with the Kia and I thought I would be bringing it back to Carthage-I felt so awful! It was so hot and I just kept thinking about them hanging around town until I called when I misunderstood!! I felt like such a butt. So Mike took the Kia and met them and then he went to Academy to spend his gift cards he got for his b-day. We got the old broken yucky couch out of the house, moved our big pit couch into the family room and then put our new stuff in the living room-but of course, I dont like how its arranged right now-so am going to be redoing the livingroom when I get some time-which isnt going to be in the next 2 weeks! LOL.... I actually had stuff in storage that I had forgotten about-and I have one more load, at least to go to Mel and Terrys until thats done-and several more boxes to go through. Several more things to add to the sale. I was very happy to find a box that I couldnt find for a long time that belonged to my grandma with some of her dishes that she gave me in it. YAY....Mike was really mad-he was missing one of his engine blocks and our little deep freeze was gone-Who knows what happened to those items? Since we dont go to storage very often-we couldnt even pin point a time frame of the missing items. Oh well-wont have to worry about that soon. We ate when Mike got home and then I had to take Cory (stephs b-friend) back to Joplin, by the time I got home and got settled in, it was 10:30 and by the time Megan and Aaron left and I got to go to sleep it was 1 am. We were all dragging butt. Heck, I am STILL dragging butt-LOL....But, I am going to go into town AGAIN today and pick up another load to bring home and go through so I can get this crap done. I want to come to the reunion and the ONLY way I am going to be doing that is get that stuff all put together and sold. We broke my brand new computer desk AND the side off the organ bench when we were in storage yesterday! What a disaster-I sure hope it can be fixed so I dont have to give that stuff away! The fire dept was at the mall yesterday and they had their big firehose out misting all these people by the bank when we drove by. I wanted to go so bad!!! I couldve just pushed all those little kids out of the way and for those of you who have seen Tommy Boy-I couldve done that dance he does when he is getting hosed off at the gas station. **Jan-Im so sorry you got sick like that. It sounds to me like dumping and I have had episodes where it has lasted several hours like that too-Know how I say that chinese food to me is now considered the devil? I get sick like that from chinese and will throw up for a couple hours (not straight, but it will last that long) and then get really weak and feel flu-ish. The last time I dumped on chinese-I had these horrific chest pains and etc-along with the vomitting and gross feeling and I decided at that time-I was NOT going to even try chinese for a year or more. Man, that was awful....If Sherr hadnt told me about one of her dumping episodes where she felt like she was having a heart attack or like an elephant was on her chest-I think I would have gone to the ER thinking I was having a heart attack! Im so sorry about your gardening goodies not doing so good in the heat-Most of mine have died-except a couple that are hanging off the porch so they get plenty of shade-and I hate seeing the little bit we did plant-wilt and die-and there is nothing I could do about it-and I did water them first thing in the morning AND at night when the sun wasnt shining directly on them.....so-I know if those few bothered me-that your little slice of heaven out there-would break my heart to see so much start to look like that. Our grass is all crunchy and starting to look horrible too-its like being in the desert!!!! Which is why, I think we are seeing so many lizards, snakes and scorpions here. That scorpion we caught 2 weeks ago-HE IS STILL ALIVE-and we arent feeding him!! I think I am going to try to find a jar that is sealed and put him in there!

Ok-lets see, the b-friend that I got to meet for like 10 min on Thurs-well-after spending 1/2 hour with him when he wasnt in his work place.....NIGHTMARE! NO ONE likes him-not even Megan and Aaron-who usually see past someones short comings to see the good in everyone-there isnt much good in this person. I am devastated-I cannot think of anyone worse for her to be with. It was so bad that Mike ended up telling him off in the afternoon when he started talking down to him and being a smart A$$....WOW! My daughter just thinks he can do no wrong-and several times when I was talking to him-and he would answer a question (I really gave him the 3rd degree) Stephanie would look at him and say-Thats NOT what you told me! Can anyone please make that light bulb go off? Its because he is a freaking liar! He tried to tell me (he will be 18 in December) that he has beat up a cop, when the cop made him mad-but he got off, because supposedly-the cop had already lost his badge when he went to arrest his mom! Ok-how could the cop have lost his badge and STILL be working? Come on-do I look like Im 2 yrs old? Then-HE lifts his shirt and says-Hey mom, look at my belly wound-which is the size of one of my 5 wounds on my tummy-but his was from his appendix (yes-I KNOW it is) and I said-I have 5 of those-is that suppose to impress me? He says-well, DID YOU get stabbed? I had to have emergency surgery with NO Pain meds and NO ANESTHESIA....At which point I looked at Steph and said-have you ever told Cory where I worked and what I did for a living? I looked at Cory and told him that IF he lies or steals from us-he will NEVER be out here again-because those are things I WILL NOT tolerate and I DONT HAVE TO-since its MY house. He sat in front of me and said-You wouldnt think Im tough since I am small, would you? I was thinking PLEASE SHUT UP-PLEASE! I was like-Cory, size has nothing to do with it-cause that man sitting on the end of the couch is small-but he could take someone 3 times his size. He is like-yah, well, 8 punches and I can take anybody.....OMG! Then he informs me, in front of Steph that she told him that she WANTS to quit school and live with this loser-AND that she was talking about babies-I looked at BOTH of them and said-I will KICK BOTH of your butts-and Cory-you wont survive son-I am going to put Steph on the shot. Bullcrap IF I am going to sit and watch that train wreck-and I flat out told Cory that IF things get out of control-STEPH WILL GO to Vegas and HE WONT go! He didnt like that too much, but I dont give a crap. Then he tried telling me that HE WILL be riding his skateboard out to see us if I wont bring Steph to town one weekend-and I told him-YOU are NOT telling ME what YOU are going to do-DONT EVER show up at this house unannounced or THINK you will be coming out-OR I Will go open the dog pen and thats all that I will need to do-YOU can worry about the rest. He was like-I used to have a dog twice his size-Im not afraid of dogs-OK then smart A$$-go over and TRY to pet him-PLEASE!! I tried to even egg him on about petting Dozer-but he didnt act like he wanted to challenge me in that area-Dang it. This couldve all been taken care of yesterday if he wouldve just gotten in that dog pen. Then he told me WHEN I was going to be taking him home (BIG MISTAKE) and then he was a hateful little dink when I told him that I WOULD NOT be bringing Steph into town to hang out with him today. He "accidently" left his wallet in the car last night when we dropped him off-I think it was done on purpose-so I am going to fix that problem without having to interact with the little jerk. I am dropping it off where he is staying. I guess me and Steph are going to have A LOT to talk about in counseling on Weds. This crap is not cool with me. I really really DONT have the energy for this. I dont. I also dont WANT to! So-guess what? Im not. I already informed him yesterday that he doesnt intimidate me-he is NOT going to run Steph OR my house and that I didnt care WHO he thought he was-he wasnt getting away with anything JUST BECAUSE Steph thinks she is in love-thats NOT how it rolls around here. Mike took them BOTH in the livingroom and talked to them-and I have talked to them-but I flat out told him that ANY trouble-with our house, him with the authorities or anything else-and he is banned-until she is 18, whether he liked it or not. Too bad-so sad. Ok-I gotta quit talking about it-its going to ruin my day. **Tammy-Ammy-I was sitting here drinking my coffee when I was reading about the chunk of meat missing from her cheek and thought I was gonna blow chunks-thanks for the visual. I am so glad she is okay. I prayed and prayed for her and all of you. Thank God that little princess is ok!! It was prob harder on you than on her-ya think? Hi All,

    I put this on the prayer request but I thought I would put it here also.      Prayers are needed for my aunt and her kids, my cousin Carrie, her daughter passed away this morning. She was 48. She has been having seizers and they have been getting worse. Her step dad went in and checked on her at about 4:30 this morning and she was fine. Her mom went in later and found her on the floor and she was already gone. She was one of the sweetest people you could ever have met. I will really miss her.    They live in Ill. about 60 miles south of Chicago. So we will be traveling up there. Not sure of the details yet. One of her brothers lives in Texas so it just depends how long it takes him to get there. She had two brothers and one sister and many nieses and nephews. Her dad, my mom's brother, died of a heartattack in his 40's.    So if you would keep her family and mine in your prayers.      Take Care All. Love Tammy V.

Hi OH and Jan Hope everyone is keeping cool in this heat we are having. I heard that we should get some relief soon. I certainly hope so. This weekend has been a great weekend. I had a house full for the pre season opener of the Chiefs yesterday. I had spent until four am friday night trying to get things ready. I made a mexican feast for those that could eat I made Taco's Burrito's Taco burgers Cheese dip Guacomole Mexican fiesta dip Rolled salami with garden spread Rasbery chipolte block with crackers Chips and salsa See thats a feast!!! Normally when we have our football parties I get to pig out with everyone else. Guess what?? It didn't even bother me. When they sat down to eat dinner I just sat down with my yogurt. They were like this doesn't bother you?? Ne not one bit cause when you all get stuffed and miserable I get to sit here and say "I'm sorry" and no really it doesn't bother me I just want everyone else to have as great a time as I am.  I enjoy cooking and I am so gld that didn't disappear after surgery cause it's part of my identity. With my four kids and all their friends they would think there is something wrong if they come over and I'm not in the kitchen working on some great invention or making them something to taste. They thought it was great yesterday cause I would call them in and say here taste this and tell me if it needs anything. I also teased them that they would all have great palates by the time they all got out on their own. Most of them are on their own but taco bell and mcdonalds is where they go. So on the weekends everyone heads to my house to see what I have cooked up. So after everyone was fed and the game was over they all headed out for their sat night. I had a great time cooking and visiting with everyone. Some told me MOm youn have really lost the weight and some just couldn't believe it. The best thing about it I woke up this am and weighed and had lost three pounds since yesterday!! Oh that was so sweet. BF said he weighed two more pounds this am than he did yesterday. I felt like singing Oh WHAT A FEELING!! LOL Well today I am spending with my four kids their BF or GF and my three grandchildren. No I don't have to cook today there are plenty of leftovers. I can hear them now in the fridge rummaging around and smell the hamburger and beans being warmed up as I type.  I hope everyone has a great day. Hi Jan; Take it from an old pro! Welcome to dumping.....you feel like you just got the flu bug. When I get too much sugar. I'm sick like that for 2-3 hours. Bet the bratworst  had sugar...Sorry you had to experience it. Actually I always think it's a good thing. I am really careful when eating out and at pot luck dinners. I know what sugar does and I don't like it. Makes me more careful.
