Surgery Date 8/24

I had my surgery on 7-25, very easy, I was in and out.  I  showed up at the hospital at 7:30 am but due to emergency surgeries, I didn't get in till around 1:30 pm.  I was walking out of the hospital at about 3:45 pm!  The thing that hurt the most was the breathing tube.  I had my surgery on a Wednesday and took Thursday and Friday off, then had Saturday and Sunday and returned to work on Monday.  I was tired by the end of the day but by Wednesday I was back to normal.  I had a co-worker that had her's on Friday and was back to work  today.  She was tired by the end of the day but doing well.  She agreed with  me, the main pain came from the port area and that was mainly at night. 

I was prepared for a lot worse than it was.  I am eating basically normal foods but a LOT LESS than before.  I am almost never hungry and what hunger I have experienced as been nothing compaired to what it was before.  I am down 31.5 pounds so far.   What else do you want to know!  LOL Jennifer

Hi Stacy , congrats. you must be really excited. the email you sent me you said the 28th .lol I know you want us to pray for you on all these days dont you?  Imm sure everthing will go great and you wil be a good classic case for your doctor. Love and hugs.  Jan
