Jason and Wendy are in need of encouragement...
I need a little help here guys! I'm sure everyone understands the pain that Jason and Wendy are going through at this time! Jason has called me several times but he is afraid of running up their phone bill to where they can't pay it!
They both need A LOT of encouragement and support right now! Jason even asked if I knew anyone that would write them and if so, to give them his email address so they could send them letters or notes of encouragement, stories of strength, miracles, Bible verses....anything that's encouraging to them! Not too long of letters though...he is having to use the Library's computer for now!
Jason doesn't really know anyone down there and he is really trying to be strong for Wendy but he is having a hard time as you can imagine! He says, he thinks it would help him to stay stronger if he got some encouraging words that he and Wendy could read throughout their long days now! I added that they need letters, notes and so on full of support, love, encouragement and strength!
So people....rub your hands down with arthritis cream, take some pain meds and get those fingers to typing! :-) Seriously tho...they could use whatever you could send them! I think Jason is hanging on by a string or two but Wendy is really starting to fall apart and Jason isn't sure what to do or how to feel! Lord, please hold them close!
I am not going to post his email address here, on the board! I will give it to you by email or you can send me a message and I will give it to you then!
Guys, they REALLY need some help down there!! Prayers, words of wisdom, encouragement....anything that will help keep their sprirts up!!
I sent this letter out in a email, if you didn't receive it in your email then I don't have your address! Write me and I will give you Jason's address and it will let me know that you are wanting updates as they come in, as well!
Also, if you know someone that knows Jason and think they may want to talk with him or someone that would be a good person for Jason to talk to, then let them have Jason's address too!
I hope I got everything covered! Any questions, feel free to write me! Please, send Jason and Wendy a little something....they need us!
With all my love....Deb M.
Deb...I know a young couple from church that went through about the same thing a few years ago....From what I remember, their baby was born without most of his insides....I don't know that they knew how bad things were before the baby was born... but he was in pretty bad shape and they gave the baby meds to keep it comfortable and then took it to the parents for them to comfort him till his time was up....The whole family was there with them and they all spent what little time they had with him, talking to him and loving him...
I'm pretty sure if I contact them they would talk to your son and his wife and share with them how things were and the emotions and all they dealt with....I know the grandmother would and she is a wonderful sweet woman and very christian....So if you want to send me his email I know she would write to them and I will be calling her anyways as she is the person we call to activate the church prayer line....May God Bless and Keep you and your children through all this.....Hugs..Tammy~ammy

Hi Debbie;
Just a note to tell you your Grandbaby is in our prayers! Probvebs 3:5 tells us to Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to your own understanding. I hang by this for all our troubles. I have a nephew who had a baby with all her insides on the outside of her body and had to have surgery within hours of birth. She is now 8 years old and doing great. No problems. When my brothers wife was expecting and went into labor they told us the baby was going to be still born but, she wasn't and is now 36 and has a family of her own. Also, I have another neice that is Down Symdrome and she is the best thing. We love her with all our hearts. God does know best and He will make all the decisions for them and the baby. Please tell him to let this make them stronger in their faith and love for one another. Please tell your son to hold onto his wife so that their love and faith can grow stronger and that they and you are not alone. You have many friends here that are praying for you. You also know if you need a friend where I am.
Hugs; Barbara

Debbie,
Jason and Wendy are surely in my thoughts and prayers. I don't know if I'm a good person to write to them directly. About 5 years ago my DD had a little boy, Sweet William, who was born early, was Down Syndrome and had heart and lung problems. He lived his first 8 months is NICU and had his little heart repaired. He came home but she only had him for 5 months after that. He just tried so hard but couldn't make it. It is heart wrenching but God is in control and she is at peace with it now. It took awhile, seemed unfair to him and to her but she is stronger now and it has deepened her faith I think. We really don't have big conversations about him - hurts too much. But we do talk about what a blessing he was for the time that we had him.
I wish I could be inspirational to your kids, I just don't have the words in this case.
Hugs, love and prayers for all of you.
