My sonogram today...
Hi guys...
I know it's a little late but I wanted to touch base with everyone that's keeping up with my lump trauma! Today, I had my sonogram...she saw three swollen lymph nodes is the area I felt them!
I had to laugh when she said they look like jelly beans! I told her that when there was one, I named it my lil hot tamale after the candy because that's what it felt like to me! We both had a good laugh!...the newest and smaller of the three isn't even close to a half inch and get this....the old ones have shrunk!
The two of them together are probably an inch long and not near as wide. Before they were 2, almost 3 inches in length and about a good inch across...do we have an awesome GOD or what?

She asked if I had been sick lately and I told her no but that I had, had problems with allergies, sinusitis and ear drainage. I forgot about being sick with pneumonia...we can't remember how long ago that was...anyone remember? If nothing else, they can get that info from my PCP, he gave me the antibiotics for it!
She also found nodules on my thyroid....why not!?!
I may have to be put on a med for that but she thinks that's all I would need there.
She also seemed to think that with the lymph noids getting smaller that they may not even want to do the biopsy tomorrow or do a thyroid biopsy instead...either way, I'm finding out for sure before they give me any drugs....lol
I will update again, either Thursday night or Friday! It all depends on what they do tomorrow!

Deb...Glad to hear you feel like shouting!!!! Sorry I didn't get this listed on the prayer post but you posted while I was working on the prayer post.....You know we will all be praying for you and waiting to hear how things are going and what they decide....God Bless Ya.....

Debbie will continue to pray that all of this is just from infection. That is what the lymph gland are in there for is to catch bad stuff and they will swell when they do.
God is good all the time isnt he? Be sure and let us know what happens today. Will be praying that you dont have to go thru the biopsy deal.

I just wanted to share with you my experience I had with my thyroid. It was back in 1998 when I went to a surgeon to have my gallbladder removed she is the one who found the nodule on my thyroid therefor putting my gallbladder on hold they did a thyroid scan and found that I did have a nodule so then I had to have a thyroid biopsey and they did find cancerous cells so I had to have part of my thyroid removed and I'm on medication for the rest of my life. The biopsey was a little scary for me I'd have to admit but it didn't hurt I think it was just the thought of them sticking a needle in my neck? Since this I have had no problems just have to have my medication adjusted at times which is no big deal. I hope all goes well for you and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
