Back from Biopsy and Jason & Wendy...
I have to make this quick because Jason may be calling anytime! Wendy is leaking clear fluid now...they have an appt at one today but when I was talking with Jason just now...he had to hang up quickly.....please stop and pray for all three of them now!! Thank you!!
The biospy went well! They took fine needle biopsies of the thyroid nodules on the right side of my neck, there are two, about an inch and a half in length and biopsies of two of the three lymph nodes they found on the left side of my neck/collarbone...geez, I think I need to change my name to "Lumpy!!"
They don't seem to concerned about the lymph nodes with them growing and shrinking like they are, also I felt some pain in the lymph nodes as they were biopsing them. That showed signs of infection...kind of like if you ever went to the dentist with a really bad toothache and they went to pull it and you could still feel pain! They can only give you so much novacaine and "infection" can't be numbed! I hope I explained that well enough...my mind is going ninety miles an hour with Jason and Wendy!
Anyway....we MIGHT have some concerns with the nodules in the thyroid! Don't panic yet...with what I have read, nodules are usually only maligant about 5 to 10% of the time and besides...we have GOD on our side!
Doc said we would hear something in a few days! With today being Thursday I figure we will hear something by Monday or Tuesday of next week!
I'm a little sore and will have a pretty good bruise below my adam's apple (kind of looks like a hickey.....lol) but all in all, I'm fine! The waiting is the hardest!
I need to be going, I hope I covered everything but like I said earlier though, the ones we need to be thinking of and praying for is Jason, Wendy and little Adam...
God, you work miracles everyday and I am very happy to have been witness to many of them! I ask now that you work a BIG miracle down there in Springfield for Jason, Wendy and their baby! Jason has asked us to pray for Your Will to be done and I honor that but Lord I know that you can heal that whole situation down there and I have the faith I need to believe it will happen!
If for some reason beyond what we know you decide to take Adam Lee home, Lord, I ask...we ask that you help Jason and Wendy through this! Keeping them strong, keeping their faith stronger, let them feel Your presence, Your love and Your peace! Help them to find their way back to You so they can continue in the journey that You have set for them to travel. I ask all this, in Your Name....Thank you Jesus! Amen!!
