One Year Ago Today I Had a New Life Start!!!!!!
8/17/06 Was my WLS. When I look back it seems that time has flown by! I have lost 120 lbs and went from a size 28 womens to a 14 misses or a 15 juniors.
It has been hard at times to not eat things I shouldn't. I don't dump and sugar doesn't bother me unless I indulge to much. I still fight everyday with head hunger. I still see a fat girl when I look in the mirror. It's great to still get compliments from people and to be called skinny, can't wrap my head around that one. My husband calls me his trophy wife LOL. Losing the weight has caused more wrinkles in my face, when it was all puffed up it stretched out all the wrinkles but now that my face has deflated it sure is wrinkled! I am so thankful that I can walk now without huffing and puffing and I can ride my bike for about 5 or 6 miles without having to stop. I just wi**** would cool off some so it wouldn't be so hot when I am riding. I still need to lose 30 more pounds but it's gotten a lot harder now, I am on a plateau and can't seem to jump start myself even with doing just protein shakes! But if I stayed where I'm at right now it is still a whole lot better place to be than one year ago today! Every body take care. Love Brenda
Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right..
Forget about the one's who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy,
they just promised it would be worth it.
