What would you like to do once you lose some weight? *cute*

Hi Amber- Although I am no longer pre-op....When I started my journey-I had a list of goals that was almost 300 things!! I started my journey at over 438#-I am down 179# and the things that were very important to me, ranged from basic necessities, things that others take for granted everyday-to things I have done in the past and miss doing now-and then things I have never done because I already knew I couldnt-due to my weight-so I will list some seperately.
Basic necessities: take a shower without huffing and puffing 2 minutes into it. Not to have to stand to wipe my rear because it was so big, to shave my legs IN the bath or shower, to FIT in the bathtub, to fit in the shower (ours have those glass doors-and I didnt fit in there) To wear a seatbelt in ANY car-to be able to walk without stopping every 10 steps to rest, to go out and not be sweating like a pig or smelling.
Things I used to do that I couldnt and missed: crossing my legs, fitting in a booth at ANY restuarant-I dont have to call ahead anymore and see what their seating arrangements are before I go. My hubby likes to be spontaneous and I used to get very nervous about trying out new things! I can sit on the floor and play with my 4 yr old AND get myself back up without help! I can get in AND out of the pool by myself (just happened this year) Go to the amusement parks or carnival with my kids AND ride the rides with them-and not get too tired from walking! I can go shopping and NOT ride in one of their electric carts! I can play soccer, ball or anything else with my boys. I gave my son a piggy back ride for the first time this year~! I can have fun with my hubby again! (LOL-wink*wink*) I can fit in ANY restroom stalls now-and not be touching side to side AND I can open the door AND get in!! I cant wait to go on another plane ride and NOT have to ask for an extender! I want to take a helicopter tour with my hubby when we go on our tropical vacation, I want to parasail, maybe go horseback riding with my daughter, and be in the teen sizes for my clothes! This is just a partial list-but all the WOW moments, no matter how big or how small-WILL make you feel like everything your going through was AND is worth it!!! Im still not where I want to be-but it sure feels good to be getting there for once-and not feel discouraged or defeated! Good luck everyone-no matter where you are in your journey-I wish you the best of luck and everything your heart desires!!! Love, Janet
