1st Dr appointment
Hi Bev,
I had my 1st appt a year ago the same day!!! I believe his name is Suttmoeller. He is Natalie (the RN case manager AND office managers hubby)....They have hired him to help out with their overwhelming caseloads now. I didnt think that he met with patients until you were post-op, but then again, Im 9 months out and a lot has changed since I had to do all my pre-op visits and most of my post op. I always saw Fearing-even in the hospital! Ok-what to expect:
They will bring you back and take your stats: they will weigh you, take temp, blood pressure and go over how your feeling, your level of pain and anything your allergic to-etc.
Then-most of the time you go back out and sit and wait for your name to be called-get in your room and then Natalie will come in and she goes through your whole packet you sent back in-IN DETAIL and makes notes about everything you talk about. When she is all done with you-then you meet the doc and can go over any questions you may have-and they go over your surgical options and they go over risks and etc. At least thats how it was when I went a yr ago. Between Natalie and Dr. Fearing-I was there for 1 1/2 hrs spending equal time with both. Im so happy for you!! Please let us know how it goes. He is suppose to be a very nice person, very compassionate and caring and everyone that I have talked to that has seen him so far loves him! Make sure you ask him when you will be able to meet with Fearing. Good luck, your in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Janet
Congrats on your first appt. Bev. Don't worry you will be fine. My first appt went about like Janets. Dr. S. is a great doctor I had hi last week for my 3 week check up he is a very good dr. Like Janet said ask him when you will get to meet Dr. Fearing. Good luck and I will keep you in my thoiughts.
Hugs
Good Luck on your weight loss journey. It was a little scary for me before my first Dr's appointment because I guess it was fear of the unknown, but I know you will be fine .

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right..
Forget about the one's who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy,
they just promised it would be worth it.
