was wondering if anyone knew of any surgeons who do the Band and/or RNY other than Dr. Edwards?

I do not know of any in that area I live in the Columbia area and Bariatric Services of Missouri through the University Hospital is where I am going and we have many that were in the meeting with the dietician and all this week from your area... sorry I can not help with any that are closer

Are you still not getting any where with his office????  I still don't understand that.  So far, everyone I talk to has had a good experience there....I  still don't understand what is going on.  Maybe you should share with the board?  See what they think.   Jennifer

There are a couple of others who work with the Weight Loss Surgery Center - Nigro, Augustin, and one other who's name I can't recall. I believe the WLSC is out of KC, but they have an office here in Springfield. I found them by doing a surgeon search on lapband.com. I'm with Dr. Edwards, so I don't have any info to share about them. Good luck! Tabitha
