Nervous about tomorrow!
Hi guys and gals,
Well...I'm all packed...getting ready to go see my parents and then I will be off to STL for the night. I have my surgery tomorrow at 7:30 AM. I'm starting to get very very nervous! One minute I'm ready to go and the next.....I'm like..Holy...crap...I'm really doing this. Did anyone else feel like this?

Tomorrow is your big day, and yeah a lot of us were excited and ready to go and then nervous the next minute. I myself felt excited like something long awaited for about to happen. wasnt scared at all

Hi Stacy! I had WLS on August 6 at a hospital in Columbia, MO, 8 hrs from my home. We stayed at a motel in Columbia the night before. The morning of surgery, I got up and got ready and then took a walk around the motel parking lot by myself for a few minutes and spoke to the Lord. I thanked Him for the opportunity I finally had to have this surgery, and asked Him to guide my surgeon's hands. When I got to the pre-op area, I had a complete calm come over me, as I knew I had a lot of prayer warriors in my corner! Everything worked out just great! Best wishes on your surgery tomorrow! Stacy I havent had my surgery yet I am scheduled for september 21st but I think everyone has those feelings I think that it is only normal....I know you will do great and you have a lot of people rooting for you and praying for you here so just remember as you drift off to that drug induced dream world that you have this HUGE extended family that is waiting to hear from you and that is praying for you and will be here to listen, laugh and cry with!!!
