Kansas City, Mo. DR. Suggestions

I spoke with Dr. Berntsen's nurse today in Topeka, Kansas Although my insurance has said it would cover my surgery what it failed to mention was, as it is a Missouri Company it will not cover me in Kansas. So i am looking into Dr's in Kansas City, Mo side which from where i am would be the closest for me to travel. Any Suggestions.. I have Childrens Mercy insurance. My health is te reason i seek this surgary by Dr's advise. So i need to find a DR. soon.

I as well as several on here will suggest Dr. Hornbostel in Sedalia. I'm sure there are some closer but, Dr. H is worth the drive.
