Dr. Daniel Fabito performed open roux en y on me in 1999.  I am in desperate need of my medical records and I understand he has retired.  I live in Illinois, but my surgery was done in St. Louis Missouri at Lutheran Medical Center, which changed it's name to Southpointe Hospital.  The name must have changed again, because I am unable to locate it.  Can anyone out there help me  with this problem?  I have no way of knowing what the hospital name is or how to get my records, since Dr. Fabito retired.  Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe the hospital is St. Alexius now.  It's at 3933 South Broadway which is where Lutheran was.  Their telephone number 314-865-3333.  I would just call and ask for their records dept.  They should be able to help you although you will probably need to put it in writing with a signature or in person.  Where in IL do you live?  I'm in Columbia. Hi Lori.  I live in a town called salem.  It is approx 75 miles east of St. Louis on route 50.  A pediatrician who started his practice here in Salem, is now in Columbia.  I love him and still take my girls to see him, unless it is an emergency.  The docs name is Dr. Cangas.  He is great with the girls and they just love him.  He is also very handsome.  My girls laugh at me because I enjoy taking them to their appointments.  Thank you for responding to my post.   I really appreciate it.  I hope you have had great success with your surgery.  As I said, I had mine done in 1999.  I got pregnant after losing 150 lbs and have slowly been gaining weight back.  I started out at 350.  Got down to 214 and am now back up to about 270.  I have been considering getting a revision.  I am an RN and am currently not able to work because of many back problems as well as other ailments.  I am going to try getting disability, but dont know if I have a chance or not.  That is the reason I am needing my records.  Well, I have to get myself to bed.  Thank you for your reply.  I really appreciate it.  Lana H.
