Dr. in Missouri

Has anyone used Dr. Edwards in Springfield Mo.?  Also has anyone had Lap band put on after RNY?   Thank you April

Dr. Edwards did my Lap RNY in Springfield and I think he's a top-notch surgeon.  Loving, caring and compassionate.  And a cutie too!!! Hugs, Lana

Dr. Edwards did my lap band on 07-25-07 and was great.  It took me 6 months to get it done due to my personal insurance but without Mary's help, it would have taken longer.  I didn't have a problem with his staff other that Katie, the social worker, is a little "dry", if you know what I mean.  I didn't really feel comfortable talking with her.  Now, if you get her going on her cats, she opens up though!  LOL    But, Dr. Edwards was great, easy going, very comfortable to be with and as was said before, VERY EASY ON THE EYES!!!  I have my first fill Thursday, will know how that goes then but I don't even know if he actually does that or not.   I enjoyed my experience and glad I had him.   Jennifer

It took me over 4 months due to my insurance.I had to do 3 appts. with everyone before we could send it in for approval.  Mary is awesome and w/o out her it would've never gotten approved.  Everyone else is great to.  I has an issue with one of the nutritionist in the beginning, I talked to Mary and Dr. Edwards about it and it was resolved.  If you are having issues let someone know.  They want to be top knotch.  As far as Katie is concerned I have been in trauma therapy with her since I began this journey in March and I love her to pieces, she has been a life saver for me.  Keep me posted, Nicole

I just had my surgery done by Dr. Edwards on 8.29.07 and he did an excellent job (no pain meds needed!)  Before surgery, I had heard excellent things from others who were patients as well as other medical professionals. I have to say, I completely agree with them. I have nothing but positive comments about him and his staff. Tabitha
