WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY.

Oh my gosh !love this fall weather we are having. Feels so very good to turn off the a/c and have all the windows open , even if I will have to dust again .

 

Well another labor day week end, it seems like it was less than a month ago and we were having the Memorial day week end. Time is flying so fast, does that mean that I am old?lol

Maybe I am just having fun .

 

Watered some more of my flowers this morning with soaker hoses. I find that is the best way to do it so not a lot of water is wasted and it gets to the roots where it is really needed. Doesn’t look like there is going to be any rain soon so need to do it this way.

 

Just got home from work tonight. Whew, I was totally by myself and had one admit and had a dialysis patient have to be sent out to the hospital. Plus 2 patients fell. Well not fall but they got out of their merry walker chairs and slid to the ground . You have to do all sorts of silly paper work if they fall too. So got everything done an was thru by 8:30 . I didn’t take a brea****il I got it all done. One of the aides said to me haven’t you had a break yet. I told her no when I finish all of this I will take a break but not before. That way I know that at the end of the shift I have everything done and if something happens I have time to deal with it.

 

Anyway seems like I am a whole lot more laid back now than I use to be about stuff. Didn’t even realize that it was 8 pm until I finished and I looked at the clock. Lol  

I must be having fun huh?

 

 

Well the week enders are here. One of the big holidays and all of the week enders are all down I think. And probably brough all of their friends and family lol . That is ok they will only be here for a couple of days and then it goes back to being nice and quite down here like it is most of the time.  The only thing that bugs us is the ones that have to shoot off fireworks around 12 or 1 pm. Those are the ones that you want to wait until about 4 am and go over next to their house and sit off a whole string of firecrackers next to their house. Lol wonder if they would get the point?

 

 

JANET: I get those feelings too about loved ones and things they are going thru. Most of the time don’t know what is going to happen but there have been times that I do and those are really scary. They say that a person like that is like a big radio receiver. We pick up on the air waves these things when they pertain to people we love and care about. Lol

 

Now listen no more sickness allowed or injuries or anything else. Get OUT OF HERE SATAN!!!!!

No more sick kids, no more falling , no more problems of any kind.

Everyone that is suppose to be at the reunion is going to be there.

 

Well did you find anything at that Catos. I was really afraid the prettiest of the blouses wouldn’t fit me. It is light pink an is sheer ruffles on a  angle down the front of the blous and is a small but it sleeveless and doesn’t come all the way over the belly area. I think it will be cute worn with a pair of jeans. Because it is so dressy and then jeans are so sporty,

 

That is just more than awesome that you are 11 pounds away from 200 lost. That is amazeing. Great, wonderful lol

 

Yes I got an email today from Tammy  saying that they wont know for sure until that week end but if they do it will be only for the day.

 

I am really looking forward to having so much fun next week end. Anyway so I guess we will have a bedroom free then if Tammy isnt goining to come down and stay all night.

 

 

SHANNON  C: oh that will be so very neat if you and Tammy V both get to come. Just neat that we can get together with everyone.

 

I wonder if the the little measuring cup think you got is like the ones I bought from wal mart. I really like these little things they are really handy. 

 

Don’t you just love resale shops? They are so neat.

Hey you should have went ahead and bought the pantie and bra sets , they will fit you soon that is for sure.

 

Hope you found lots of good stuff at the farmers market.

 

 

NUTTI; Well it is finally good to hear from you again. I don’t know , it is a wonder that all of us don’t have U.T.I. all the time. I know it seems like my poor kidneys are constantly working to keep everything going well.

No don’t get discouraged about a gain or even what appears to be a standstill

One think that we have to change our thinking about is that we need to eat enough or we wont lose weight. Eating right and remember to do  protein first, get in enough protein at least 60 to 90 grams and enough water and you should lose.

 

Wish you and your hubby could come to the reunion. Im sure we will have loads of fun.

 

 

 

TAMMY C: Hey that sounds like a good idea about planting some of the herbs in with your flowers . I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t  count on Joe to help me weed my flowers.

Hi Jan and MO Peeps~ Well, yesterday was a pretty busy day here. Plus, for some reason-the kids were really edgy and hyper. Oh, do I HATE those kind of days. They didnt do any of their chores right-so mom had to make them re-do them.....and on top of that, Jon was hyper, Darrel was whiney and cranky and I was restless!! LOL-what a   B-A-D combination!!! We FINALLY got the brakes fixed-geez, if that wasnt a chore-something so simple-and 3 trips to the auto parts store. When we replaced the "master" cylinoid under the hood-we thought that was it-but upon getting into the brakes-or trying to bleed them in the rear-the brake cylinoids on the rear wheels were both bad-so had to go back and get those as well. Mike finally got it ALL done in late afternoon. I hi-lighted my hair at the same time-and that was a disaster-so now that has to be fixed. Dont ask!!! Wore it in a pony tail all day so the 2 mess up places that are really evident when its down-couldnt be seen!!! LOL... I was restless-so Megan asked me and the boys if we wanted to come and see her at work (mall) and then go to the new store that just opened-Steve and Barrys-WOW, that store is AWESOME! There is NOTHING in that store over 19.98-and most things were $7 or less-they have everything in there. It was awesome! Even the winter coats were 19.98 or less, can you believe it? Ok-so I did that. I am paying dearly for that jont out to the mall yesterday. Then I had to go to Walmart and get some groceries. By the time I got back to the track, I was ready to have someone carry me.  I did have not one, but two WOW moments yesterday. First-I wore Stephs jeans and one of her t-shirts yesterday. YAY.....and the 2nd WOW-I was standing looking at t-shirts, and I didnt realize how close I was to this gentleman that was in a wheelchair-and I reached over and touched his shoulder and said-I am so sorry!!! And he said-Oh, please-I love it when beautiful women are standing next to me, dont move!!! Aaron just stood there-going, Mom-that guy was flirting with you! I said-no he wasnt-and the guy goes-yes I am, are you married? Said, yeah I am, thanks for the compliment though!! Darrel sounds worse today than he did yesterday! CRAP! I am so angry! Whenever the weather changes, we go through this-always-every single year-but as long as I stay on top of it, he doesnt miss school or anything-unlike when he lived with his mom, she would let him get so bad, that he would have to end up in the hospital!! So-theraflu and cough medicine....Please say some prayers for him and that it wont prevent us from coming, thanks! Well, I am so sorry to hear about Tammy H and her family, I sure hope something happens where they can still come for the day. Am so glad to hear about Shannon and Tammy V though, that is going to be great! I wished that the devil wasnt trying to prevent us all from getting together and I am praying, as well as everyone else I know-that everyone planning on it gets to attend! I am going to be putting up another post about the games and potluck and such so that some that have just found out that they can come, will have all the facts. **Jan-no, nothing at Catos here for those wonderful prices. I went yesterday, they had several clearance racks-but nothing that cheap-I WISH!! Oh well, wasnt meant to be. Didnt plan on having to have to re-do my hair-so there is an added expense! Im so sorry to hear about Tammy and her family. I hope that they can come. I had posted back to Shannon about Julia maybe having a room available since her roomie cant make it now-Im sorry-I didnt read your post before I said Julia. I havent heard from Julia-she is probably doing alot of fishing right now-LOL...I hope she can still make it-so IF she still can come and needs a roomie to help with the expenses-is it ok to still offer Shannon and Tammy V to her? I dont want to step on any toes or whatever. I know Julia needed/wanted a roomie, but I dont know if her weekend was dependent on splitting the costs? I had thought about suggesting that she cancel her cabin-and sharing with you and Joe-BUT....dont think there is enough time now for her to get a full refund-if she can even get a refund this close to the date of rental and would hate to see her lose her money for it. That ESP thing I spoke of-my grandma had it, very very detailed. When she passed away-I got it, just like she had it. Sometimes I even know that there will be a train (in the middle of nowhere) or that a deer will jump out in front of the car-I even have had some other really detailed ones-and sometimes it can be scary. I once told Megan that she needed to lock her purse in the trunk because I knew someone was going to steal money from her-and I didnt even know where all she was going that evening-and she didnt believe me-and she had $50 stolen. Then, another time-one of my best g-friends up in Minnesota-I knew she was in a car accident, but I didnt know how bad. She didnt have a phone at her house and I called her mom-and the night before-just when I got that feeling-she had been in a horrible car wreck and they didnt think she was going to make it. I couldnt go up there because I was 8 mos pregnant with Steph. So-I get it really detailed sometimes, and other times its just a nagging or uncomfortable feeling about someone in particular. Well, I am making the guys breakfast-so I need to close this and get my day officially started. I hope that everyone has a wonderful rest of the Labor Day weekend. Love and Prayers to all-and please keep Mel in your prayers that she will heal quickly, that Darrel gets better and rebuke the devil so that everyone who wants to come to the reunion still can. Hey all ,       Things are going great here. I'm so excited to be coming to the reunion and getting to meet all of you. It fells like i'm getting to meet some long lost family. And my DH is fine with me not going with him to his reunion. So that worked out great. I'm so annixous to hear everybodies stories of thier weight loss adventures. I will probally be asking alot of questions!         I got an e-mail back from Dena Friday and she said that it looks like I have everything I need to see the DR. She told me that it looked like I really did my homework and she thought they should be able to have no problem pushing me right on through to surgery. The only thing she said I might need to help even alittle more was a letter from my PCP that states why I need WLS. And I know I will have no trouble getting that cause my PCP is 100% behind me doing this. She has had WLS herself. I see her on Wed. the5th. so I will have it before I go. I am so excited!!!!       I accually kinda started felling this week after talking to a friend from my support group that maybe I should have the Lap-Band instead. So I went to the lap-band forum and read the posts and talked to a few people. But I think I've decided that even though the lap is not as permanet and not as dangerous of a surgery,I am still gonna have the By-pass done. I feel that that is what is gonna work for me. My DH and I have been talking about it all week(I love him so much for having the patience to sit and listen to me) and he agrees that the by-pass is what I need.      Talk to you all again soon.Thank-you for letting me be part of your little family. Howdy Ho Peeps:          Yes, It's me dont anyone faint. lol Thought I would get on here and say Howdy to ya'll. Since my brother-in-law is here with the baby. And I am tired of hear his poor me story!!!!!!!       Feeling pretty good today. I am black n blue all across my left side and butt check. lol But over all feeling good.       I feel like Christmas time when I am maken my list of things to do. I have my book that I keep adding stuff to or taken off. You would think the way I am acting that I had never been on vacation before. Actually Terry & I havent had a vacation together. So yes, I am pretty excited.     Well this week Terry & I have been together 9 years. We meet 9 year ago face to face. Over the Labor day holiday. And been together every since then.      Okay I think the close is cleared for me to go back out. Just thought I would let everyone know how I am doing. Love ya'll Mel

Computer crashed & I lost all my pics, email addys etc...  Will try a free d/l after I get out of the hospital to recover lost data. If we stay at Niece/s hotel it won't cost us anything!  If she arranges for us to stay near son it will be $29 in nice hotel. Will talk with you all when I get home from Hospital. Shannon Curtis
