WHATS HAPPENING FOR LABOR DAY...BE SAFE

Another day off for Sunday which is going  by really fast. Joe and I painted the lean to that we built onto the storage shed. Now it looks really good like it belongs there.

Been watering and watering today …tomorrow  on Monday I work and then I will be off till the 11^th. Because of requesting the rest of the week off since I have several things to do plus the reunion ….

I wish I had a laptop computer so I can do the whats Happening post next Sat and Sunday the 8^th and 9^th from the resort but they may not be set up with wi-fi anyway don’t know.

I think that is one thing I am going to get myself soon is a laptop. There are too many times I wish I had one. They are getting cheaper and cheaper all the time too.

Use to be the cheapest one there was was over a thousand dollars.

 

Its another beautiful day,. And the a/c is still off, it has been off for 3 days and nights now. Good on the electric bill. My elect bill was 150.00 last month but I guess that isnt to bad when you run it day and night and with the temps they were. Makes you really wonder how you did without one years ago. And yes I do remember that.lol

 

Any one that still has questions about the reunion watch for a post from Janet she will be posting again with all the answers about your questions like time, pot luck, games, what to bring, etc etc.

Tammy,Im glad that your Husband is ok with you comimg to the Reunion . That is great. He sounds like one like I have.

 

That is fantastic that you will maybe having your surgery really soon. Maybe by the end of this month wouldn’t that be great?? Wow. Wont be long now. I know you are excited.

Good thing that you have decided on the RNY since Dr. Hornbostel doesn’t do the lap band anymore. He doesn’t feel like it does as much good and is not a good choice I guess .

Janet will be posting another post probably tomorrow or Tuesday about the reunion for all the info you asked me about one last time.

MELISSA: so great to hear from you . Girl why are you falling so much. Are you taking that many good drugs? Lol. You need to watch what you are doing , you keep falling you will be getting yourself really hurt before long.

Congratulations on the 9 years. Am anxious to see you all next week end. Don’t go falling anymore. You cant afford to break any thing else.

 

 

JANET: sure hope everyone is feeling better today than yesterday. Tell the kids that they have to stay well as do you and Mike, no one is allowed to be sick and miss the Reunion .

 

So you discovered Steve and Barrys huh? That is a really good store, there is one in the Mall at Springfield . I have never been in there but one of my grandsons loves the place.

 

So is your hair really that bad or what? I be it isnt as bad as you think lol. I remember the first time I tried to highlight my hair myself I said I would never do that again. It was awful.

That is amazing that you are now the same size as your youngest daughter. Great. She might now like that but then again she would have more clothes to wear if that is as far as you got. Lol. But I bet that you will be littler than her before long. Is she as tall as you are?  My aim is to get as small as my youngest daughter. We are the same height and she wears size 6 in most things so if I can get there I will be pleased. Don’t know if that is possible tho.

 

I think the blouses I got at Cato were just a fluke….everything else was marked down to 9 and 10 dollars and these two blouses were the cheapest things in there. I saw some really pretty fall clothes in there .I wish I was down to where I want to be and had , had my plastic surgery so I could buy stuff without feeling guilty.

 

 

 

TAMMY  V: sure am excited that you and Shannon are coming to the reunion. When are you all coming down? Remember the fun starts at the resort Saturday the 8^th around 9 or 10 am….and will go allday. Tell Shannon that if she gets tired during the day that she can go to one of our cabins and rest in the A/c on the couch or something. I hope she will feel ok.

 Well do you all see what I did? Somehow I got this all mixed up and got you girls answers mixed together. Not many people can do that, but I couldn’t get it moved around either. Weird.

 

SHANNON : good luck on the surgery. Hope all goes fine . sorry about the computer , that is the pits isnt it? I have started backing everything up on a cd about once a week or so in case. I have finally learned I think since I have had that happen 2 times now.

Dear Jan and OH Peeps~ Well, its Labor Day-everyone have a good day and be safe! I didnt get up until 9 am this morning and I have already been called by 2 of my favorite people. Susan called and then Mel. I have A LOT to do today to be ready for the reunion. I am hoping and praying that my back stays somewhat okay-or I am going to be a mess. I will be out of pain meds by tomorrow morning and I have no clue whats going to happen after that-so I figured I better get the stuff done right now while I have some pills left. I have to get the last post up about the reunion and then a list longer than my arm of other stuff. I will have to do laundry again on Weds so that I can get everyones stuff packed to take down with me, whether they are going with me on Thurs or not-that way they wont forget anything. So-I have LOTS to do. I also have to mow the yard today providing the lawnmower gets fixed. Mike went and bought the parts and is trying to fix it since all 3 riders and the push mower are not working.  One of Mikes employees called yesterday afternoon and he had 2 passes to the Labor Day shootout at Mo-Kan dragway and he was going to go and take his teenage daughter-but they ended up not being able to-so he called Mike yesterday afternoon and asked if we would want to go-and we said we would-so it just cost us the gas to get there. YAY....Well, then a couple of drinks-I only brought 4 waters and the boys went through 3 of them quickly-and I put a grape straw in the other. Its the first time Jonathan has been to the "real" races and he LOVED IT! He would always ask which one won, and he would pick his favorite right on the line. We were up towards the burn out box and he didnt even get scared when the jet dragster lit up-his little eyes lit up and he smiled real big-he loved it! He actually fell asleep with his head leaning back on Mike.  Ok-Im gonna respond to some and get off here and get my day officially started. **Jan-no, the resort doesnt have wi-fi. I cant remember, but I dont think there are even phones in the cabins-but I dont know if I am remembering correctly or not.....Sorry-but I know they dont have wi-fi. I will trade you elec bills-ours was $360!!! Tell me about it!! Thats with turning it way up since the surgery too-last summer it was at 70-73 the whole time-this year, Mike kept turning it down when he would get home. I would keep it from 75-78.....So-it looks like we will be turning it off days AND nights now-not just at night. Darrels not sick like strep or anything, he always gets really bad allergies, with the cough etc-in the spring and the fall. Im staying on top of it though, I dont want to have to stay home unless its an emergency type deal!

I have to post the LAST post about the reunion when Im done. Thats going to be it. I may not even have the computer tomorrow. My ex BIL who works on computers is going to look at this one AND my laptop and see what needs to be done to get them fixed. He said he isnt going to charge me unless he has to buy something out of pocket. There is something wrong with this one too-so he is going to work all the bugs out of it and get it fixed for me. So-I may not be posting past tomorrow morning until next Tues-will see. **For everyone attending the reunion-Cant wait to see ya!! Be safe in travels~for those not attending-we will miss you ALOT! Good Morning Everyone:            Wow it has been awhile since I got to be the first one to post. Now watch someone will be posting while I type up my post. he he he  Terry & I mowed and weedeater Dad's yard last night. Then jumped in the pool for awhile. Terry swore it was freezeing but I thought it felt good. Today were going back out to the house to finish the last of things to do out there. While Terry & Dad  head over that way. I am going to run out and get Darrell (Janet's son). I have been promiseing him that he could help and earn some money for Branson. Well I call first to ask if he would want to earn some money when I saw the garage. YUCK!!!!!       Tuesday is going to be a busy day. With errands, bills to pay, getting the fishing equipment and ect together. The COUNT DOWN OFFICALLY BEGINS TODAY!!!!!!  In 3 more days we will be headed to BRANSON!!! Naw I'm not excited at all!!! lol      Okay I need to get in gear to get this done and overwith. I hope everyone has a fun and safe Labor day holiday!!!!!! God Bless Mel

Jan,    If you need someone to do the post on Sat. and Sunday I will be glad to do it for you.  Since I am not going, I will be home and willing to do it.  Just let me know.  I do know you will all have fun.  I thought of coming for the day, but the ride is 4 hours one way.  Just too far.  Maybe next time.  Hope you had a good day at work today.  I was actually off, but worked harder at home.
