I am approved also!!!!!!

I also got my phone call from Da la Torre's office not but 10 mins ago to say I am approved! I go on the 19th for the pre op testing and class. When I leave on the 19th I will have my surgery date. I have made it in before the end of the year!!!!!!!! On the 19th I will know my out of pocket expenses also they are doing all the paper work for that! They are truely wonderful!!!!!!!!!!

I must have set a land speed record for approval. My paper work was submitted Thursday and I was approved on Friday! I got a copy of the letter this morning and the call today also! Things are all coming together and I can finally see the end of this journey and the begining of my new life!!!!!! Thank you all for being here to help me along this journey, Bel

Dr. De La Torre is a wonderful doctor!!! I know you already know that the staff is great, but I had surgery on the 22nd of August and if I didn't have the staple marks (and if I didn't have to eat like a bird) I wouldn't think I had the surgery. Good luck on the final part of your journey! Michelle

Michelle, I agree with you 100% about the doc and surgery. And whats up with those staple marks! I agree that if it weren't for those funny little marks I'd also wonder how they ripped out my desire to eat. In fact, if I were single I could easily remodel my kitchen and turn my pantry into storage for stuff other than food. It takes forever to finish even one can of soup. Glad to hear another one is joining us on the Loser's Bench. Hope to see you at the DePaul Support Group Meeting.
