WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Wednesday was spent taking my granddaughter Kims two babies to the well baby clinic.  They are both fine, the little one had to have more of her shots. Bless her heart they don’t seem to bother her in the least tho.

Kim did give her some baby Tylenol tho before the shots so that may have helped some.

 

I am looking for a good used refrigerator for the trailer since the one I have over there is giving up and on its last breaths I think. Since is a smaller one like a 15cu.ft one I can rent to own one at 50.00 a month or buy a used one that is running and looks pretty good for 140.00 cash. Havent decided what to do or which one. The rental is a brand new one and has a guarantee the other one is probably 15 years old and of course doesn’t. I would wind up paying about 750.00 for the new one so I don’t know. I told her that I would decide after I get back from the reunion and if it gives up while we are gone that to take her stuff and put in my ref. and freezer. 

 

Well some people will be leaving out in the morning for Branson. My reservations isnt until Friday evening so will see all of you early birds then.

Don’t have too much fun there by yourselves. Lol

 

 

BARBARA: hey yeah if you have a laptop bring it and we can all reply to Colettes post that she is going to do for me on the Whats Happening . We can each give her an birds eye view of our fun. Will be sort of like a wish you were here thing. Lol

Yeah of course it will go buy way too fast but we can squeeze every bit of fun out of it that we can . The late night gab fest around the camp fire will be lots of fun im sure.

My hubby will give up way before I do and go to bed I know.

 

 

 

TAMMY: I am sooooo sorry that you wont be able to come. I know there has to be lots of reasons but sure wish I could help in some way.

If I had the money I would be getting everyone here some way or the other, if I had to send a private car after them . lol

Im glad you enjoyed your family reunion of your dads side of the family. That is great .

Wish you could have been here and sang for us. I have thought about getting a machine like that too , not for me but for others when we all get together.

 

How is your youngest step daughter doing? Has she quit the lying to you all?

 

Sweetie I know how things can go bad in a persons life and just know that I and lots of others will be praying for you. You take care of you and we will be showing you lots of pictures for sure of this week end. And know that we will be doing this again next year, so plan on it. Ok?

 

 

JULIA: yeah you have the wagons loaded? Oh wow glad you got that fuel filter fixed before you started out. That would have been bad if you got about half way here and your car broke down. Hope you have a cell phone to carry with you on your way down.

 

Yeah if you don’t see a grocery store close to where you turn off the highway , we will be there and can drive you back out to it if you need too. Ok?

I more or less live on liquids most of the time anyway. I do eat some some times. Like last night I ate 8 med shrimp and 4 brussel sprouts lol

Well of course today I have had diarrhea. I don’t know if the cabins have blenders or not but I am bringing mine and all of my stuff to make my frozen strawberry protein shakes.

Everyone that has had surgery don’t forget your vitamins….

 

Coffee will made and waiting anyone Saturday morning by 7am….lol  maybe earlier. .

 

 

JANET: im joining you in the baby circle dance. I really never thought this would really happen. I think we are going to have a good turnout but wish we could have had more. Maybe next year right?

Oh wow 4 people in a small car is going to be awful. If the the friends of Megans comes then meg and her husband will ride with them? And Mike and Steph will bring Meagans car? Any way as long as they all get there right?

Did Susan and her crew make it in? Hope they got there all right.

 

I wonder what the owner wants to talk to you about? Surely someone didn’t say Reunion to them. Even if they did you can just say oh well I guess that is what they are calling it but it isnt. Is just a group of people that thought it would be fun to get together this week end. Since they didn’t hold a bunch of cabins for any of us then I don’t think they need to worry about a bigger deposit and besides it is all beside the point now.  Do you need extra wood for the fire pit? We could bring some that is for sure. I may go ahead and have Joe to get some for the bon fire since if we sit up very late will need a lot.

 

Tell Susan that if she is a bear we still may wake her up on Saturday. Growl away lol

The three of you in one kitchen might be funny but just imagine all three of you in there before wls. Bumping butts ….

 

Tell Jon that I am bringing him lots of flower seeds so he will have them for next spring to plant. But will have to save them until in the Spring.

Joes sister lives in Jonesboro Ark. But is having the surgery in Little Rock . Thanks for praying for her. I have told Joe and he said to thank all of you .

 

 

BEV: so sorry that you cant be with us this week end would have loved to meet you. Tell Debbie hi when you see her on Friday. Sure wish she would have been able to come down too. Been a long time since I have seen her and I know she has lost lots of weight since then.

 

I knew you would love the water aerobics class and is fun to go with someone but even by yourself it is good.

 

It has rained her all day long , hope it stops by Saturday morning anyway. As bad as we need the rain but hopefully we will be able to have a good reunion.

 

 

 

NUTTI: Yes the week end was just great. A nice Labor day week end. LOL about the fits your grandbaby throws when she has to leave. Our great grandson that lives next door is like that he would stay with us all the time if we would let him. And as much as I love him I really do like it when he goes home too. Bless his heart.

 

We might just have to drive over and see your haunted yard for Halloween . that sounds like fun.

Sure wish you could have come to the Reunion too. It will be lots of fun. I have a bedroom that wont be being used Sat night so come on down and will have a place for you waiting.

 

BOBBIE: Wish you could have come down for the Reunion too. We could have helped you stay on your liquid diet. No problem.

Your surgery date is fast approaching and just know that all of us will be there praying for you on that date. Do you have an angel yet?

I just know that you are going to be a big inspiration to others down the line. So hang in there girl you are getting ready to go on one wild and crazy ride. Yes I think that is one reason we all have such a strong sisterhood to each other is because no one else can really understand the pain and anguish you suffer from being big.

Hang in there and when it gets rough on the liquid diet come on line and we will help you as much as possible.

 

 

TAMMY V: That is so sad about your child moving way off and taking your grandbabies away. But at least with you getting this surgery you will be able to travel to see them easier,.

Don’t be discouraged about surgery. Heart conditions and sleep aphnea don’t stop most people from getting the surgery . as long as the surgeon knows about it and your cardioligst clears you for surgery. Both conditions should clear up some or completely when you lose enough weight.

 

We will be praying that Shannons gall bladder surgery goes well and that she will feel like riding that far the next day. My sister did but then who knows each person feels different . We are hoping like crazy that you will be there Saturday. And that we all will get to meet you.

The other things we will put in Gods hands and let him handle it ok?

Don’t sit in that corner too long . Rest and relax and pray that all will happen in Gods time.

 

 

 

COLETTE: I cant thank you enough for doing the Whats Happening thread for me Sat. and Sunday. If Barbara brings her laptop we will all try to post something while we are there.. Certainly wish you could be with us in West Branson but maybe next year ok?

Well tomorrow starts the LD for me and its funny I am looking forward to it lol weird huh but I think its becuase I know that means in two weeks I will be in surgery!!!!!!!!!  Today is what we call major grocery day in the house... it is when I go and buy the months groceries (with 7 kids you have too) lol....I cant wait to see pictures of you all at the reunion and hear the stories of what all went on ....we are going to Table Rock Lake down there in October for DH family reunion...I want you all to know that I pray for you all daily and wish the best for you all  Enjoy the reunion and for the ones of us that will stll be here we will try to keep the board ticking!!!  Bobbie Jo

~*~*GOOD MORNING EVERYONE*~*~                I cant believe it today is finally HERE!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!! It seemed like it would never get here. Then before I knew it the week was flying by. Thank goodness I was busy all week otherwise it would of proabley dragged by. I am rip ready and rearing to go. Well almost lol         Took my Kia out to Janet's last night so they can pack there stuff into the trailor. We will drive out there in the other car this morning. And get ready to head out for the last few errands. Before we head out on the road to BRANSON!!!!!!!          Thought I would get on here and post before I jumped into the shower. I had an outfit all picked out for today. But since it is raining here I better put something else on. he he he Of course I could just got out side and take my shower. I could see the neighbors now. ROFL           Cant wait to see everyone that gets to come. Even if it is just for the day. Hopefully this is a start of something that will continue and grow every year.        For those that are not going to be coming. Wish you could join us but I will take lots of photos and post them here. I know it isnt like being there tho.        Have a safe week and for those that are traveling. Hey Jan; I will bring my laptop. It will add to the fun. Can we take anymore? hehe Why is our get-together being call Reunion anyway? It can't be a reunion unless we have done this before can it? I suggest we talk while we are  all together and name it, like....Missouri OH Get-Together...maybe if we don't use annual or reunion we won't have trouble with the meeting places. I was hoping this will be a nice place and with it's reasonable rates, we could just set a week-end each year so everyone could plan on it all year to prepare. Well, that's my two-cents... Hate to wish my life away but, Friday afternoon can't get here soon enough. We will leave about 4PM so, it shouldn't be too late.  Our cabin is right next to you so, don't go to bed too early!

OOOOh I so wish I could go to the reunion, we are leaving for Florida in the morning, but I am taking my laptop, so maybe I can keep in touch.  We will be gone over a week..so have a good time, I will be thinking about everyone so have a safe trip....vesta

Hello Missouri, "Saturday in the park, I think it was the 4th of July"  Just one of the crazy song lyrics that floats through my empty brain.  I can't wait for "Come Saturday morning".  I should stop now!!! I am so excited to be getting together with all of you.  I don't know why the resort would care whether this is a reunion or a get-together of friends - we are not going to tear up stuff, are we??? If they don't like us, we'll go somewhere else next year.  They will be glad after they meet us!!! I think we will be good for their bottom line at this time of year.  Especially if it continues to be so rainy.  And we won't melt!!! I will be off work tomorrow to go with John to Kansas City to take DSS back to the airport so I won't be posting.  I'll see you in Branson West on Saturday or back on the OH site on Sunday or Monday. Good afternoon everyone!  Today is my Friday...YEAH!!!!  I have the next 4 days off and I'm so glad because I need to catch up on my sleep I'm so tired.... I hope those of you that are going to the reunion have a good time and I hope the weather is nice there?  Take plenty of pictures and post them on your profiles for all of us to see.  I will be thinking about you all this weekend so have a safe trip.   I don't have any plans for the next four days other than I have water aerobics tomorrow and Mon. morning.  I also have an appt. with my dietician tomorrow afternoon we'll see if all this water aerobics is paying off or not?  I will probably get caught up on some house work and cooking?  I want to make some of the peanut butter and rice crispies protein balls  I haven't tired this recipe yet I have tried the one without the cereal in it so I'm sure this one will be good too.  I made a dish last night that was not wls friendly that's for sure it's called "Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole" it tasted just like a bacon cheeseburger.  I have been thinking about how to make it less fattening the only thing you can really change is by using low-fat cheese?  I love trying out new recipes and this was one that my sister gave me.   I bought some South Beach Breakfast wraps yesterday and I tried one this morning and it wasn't bad.  They have like 16g protein in one so that's good.  I got the idea from someone in our support group meeting who eats a lot of protein.  I'm going to try the lunch wraps tomorrow.
