Got a Question

Well, it could be several things actually: could be a fungal infection of some sort, I could only think of one disease called local vasculitis. It is condition where blood vessels react on temperature changes with dilatation and rush on skin. If this is the cause then some antihistamine cream can solve your problem. Um...could be stress, and a lot of people put like VICKS on their tips and cover w/ bandages at night....and it's also thought that if you have a diet high in Nickel that it can cause something like this......you could try cutting out foods w/ Nickel and see.
Also, I was wondering if you use a facial cleanser or something with salicylic acid in it? It is known to sometimes cause something like this....dry, peeling skin....
That's the things I could think of right off.....dunno if any of these are your reasons.....but.....there ya go. Could try checking w/ your dr??

Mel: Right after the birth of my first child, the tips of my fingers started peeling and something was actually "eating" away at the tips of my fingers as well. It turned out to be the new on the market antibacterial Dial liquid soap we had brought home from the hospital. I quit using it and my finger tips returned to normal (the rest of me never has though!) lol! My kids first pediatrician (Dr. Penner, I LOVED Dr. Penner. He returned about 4 years ago so my kids are on the second one. Thank goodness they are about grown.) told me people can become allergic to almost anything at anytime. Even if they haven't been allerigc to it before. Hope you find out what's causing it. Debbie D. P.S. Hope your and Janet's sale does great this weekend. What beautiful weather!
