I have only one problem post op---

They took out the staples on Friday at my 1 week post op visit---the biggest 3 in*****ision by my belly button --where the port is--is now starting to seperate and come apart--probably about a 1 inch of it is open some----(they steri stripped it but they came off) well being the nurse I am , I have butterfly's and steri strips---so I stripped it up---placed a big bandaid on it to watch it---- thats the area I have had most of my pain--like a pulling pain---where my port is stitched into the muscle and with the incision opening too---- but really my post op wasnt to bad-----I would say the 1st week---was the hardest in trying to fiqure out what I was taking in--was I taking enough etc--- Im going back to work tommorrow---so wish me luck!! Ohh PS  this is to funny!!! --I had stress incontience which happens when your over weight sometimes---Id laugh , cough and want to wet my pants--literally!!!  Well I remember the one anesthesist (sp) saying  we dont give you a foley catheter so I hope you went to the bathroom---I said Ohh I did---so they wheeled me to surgery----I remember when I was groggy and coming to--the nurses in ICU saying  soooo---she said she had stress incontience---so from what my mom told me was--the nurses said i wet the operating room table !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  *shrugs* Oh well thats what they get for not giving me a foley!!!  LOL Just had to share that!!!  We laughed about that for days!!! love to all Amber Congrats on the newest losers and congrats to the upcoming ones!!!
