How many times you had to meet wit a PSYH?

I had got a call earlier from my MU today an Amy told me I have to meet with the psy at there site. I thought we only had to see one psy in this journey. I'm a very private person an when I had to meet the psy for the review before ins approval ,I was so uncomfortable an he knew that. But I will do watever they want but if you had to do this plz let me know how it went an wat will she be askin? Will it just the same as the last one? I'm just curious but I do know it wont be until next yr I have surgery cuz my appt is in jan, to meet her then I got to get re weight again . wow didnt know about this but its cool ,didnt want the surgery till next yr anyway. So let me know?

I met with the psychiatrist once for a psych evaluation.

I had to meet with the psychologist for a counseling session as the 1st one who is now no longer accepted by MO Bariatrics had put it in her report.  Remember that this is a lifestyle change and they want to make sure you are able and willing to do it.  As with everything you jump thru the hoops to make this happen in the long run.  It looks like you have a great support person - so hang in there! Hey Barb,  I'm still thinking this is just part of the relapse session at MU that everyone has to go through. I think it last about 30 minute's or so.   Girl you can do this, it's no big deal. Happy Thanksgiving

I met with the first one for the exam and test.  Then my insurance company wanted me to have a visit once a month for 3 months to make sure I understood what type of eater I am.  So I did these hour long sessions with a different one for three months.  Let me tell you it's all bunk cause she had me down as a binge eater which I am not.  So I just did them so my insurance company would ok the surgery.
