A ? for Dr.Scotts patients....

Hey guys...Was just wondering what everone that had Dr. Scott is going to do doctor wise now??? I'm only 5 1/2 mo out and want to continue to be monitored till at least a year out and until I have my tummy tuck.  I have a appt Dec 4th and will be seeing Shultmuller(sp) and I don't mind that for check ups but want to know that I have a Barriatric doctor involved as well.... I hope to find out more about it all when I go next month and hope I get to choose another doctor to start seeing. Still not sure who yet but am thinking of seeing if Dr. Fearing will take me. And was wondering what the rest of you are thinking of doing? I know there are several that are not even as far as I am out.  I wish all of you the very best in your decision.... I had heard but not sure it's fact.  That he is staying in the DePaul office.  Cause I have surgery on the 7th of Dec and he is supposed to be doing it.   Anyone know different?

I haven't heard anything different. I think he is staying at DePaul.

You will love Dr. Suttmoeller!  He actually listens to you and answers all your questions.  He was my pcp before going to MO bariatrics.  I know when the time comes for my hernia repair and tummy tuck I will go with who ever he suggests as I have that much faith in him. Shannon

I really like Dr. Suttmoeller,  he spent an hour with me a couple of weeks ago and I learned more from him than i have anyone, because he had the time to sit and talk with me.  I am not speaking badly of anyone else, I have no complaints, but I think he has great advice and I value his opinion and think he would refer to someone great.  Also, I haven't been to Dr Fearing personally but she was the surgeon who spoke at my seminar and I talked with her for quite a while after and she was great too..  I really liked her.  Hope you find someone you like. :) Cindy

I was supposed to have Dr. Scott as my surgeon when I first started this road in May.   Missouri Bariatric Services still doesn’t know who will do the surgery when my time comes. They told me last week that ALL the doctors are great there, they just don't know who will do the surgery right now. I do believe doctors there are all good surgeons and I’ll be safe in he's/her's hands, who ever it is.  Helen
