I'm going to have a Grandbaby!
Oh wow! Our son in Minneapolis, MN just called and he and wife are going to have a baby! I am so thrilled! This will be their first child. My daughter already has two children - so this makes us 3 Grandchildren! Wow, this is just the best day!!!!!! Now I have to go charge a bunch of baby things on my Master Card for the free air miles to Minneopolis! Whoopie!!!!!!
God has smiled on our family today!
Spending money on my Grandbabies has never been a problem for me, I delight in it! It will be so hard with this baby being so far away. But I must not dwell on that, I must think about how blessed this baby will be to have parents with jobs...no matter how far off they are from Nanna! The postman will be delivering a lot of packages to their house! They are going to need a bigger mail-box!

I don't think I'll be building this baby a doll house- both parents are architects...hahahahaha They build scale models all the time and are pro's at it. Shoot, they need to come home and finish the one we have here for us! (it would be like work to them and they would get way too fancy for a child to play with the doll house probly) But it would be a nice thing to do for them. First we have to see if it is a girl or boy. They are thinking about NOT finding out...said life has very few true joys and surprises- but we'll see how they hold out. Id want to know if it was me and I had a choice.
I thought I lost my wallet to day in Wal Mart. I was only going in after a few things and did not take my oxygen with me. Well, naturally, I lost my wallet and was going all over the store trying to find it like a chicken with my head cutt off in a panic. My oxygen sats were down to 80 but I was still truckin' ~ my wallet had all my credit cards and cash and tucked back mad-money in it. So finally I call Randy and he came up to Wall Mart and looks in my car first. There it laid on the front seat of the car. I was so happy to get it back! My Mom reciently did the same thing, but someone took all her money and tossed the wallet. (Her credit cards were not bothered thank the Good Lord). Anyways, I'm back home now and have my oxygen turned up and am going to sit and be quiet for a while. Chalk it up to one more time my husband has come to my rescue. Poor man, he does have his hands full tending to me!
Guess I still had my head up in the clouds - Anncouncments about new Grand babies are hard on this Nanna.... gets me all excited and flustered and in the baby mode!
