Hey gang - I wonder if Dr. Hornbostel's show will air again??  I'd love to see it-   I went to the web site and sure nuff' it's our Doc! ha  I hope he had lots of fun with it, I know I would!

I am whipped tonight.  I had soooo much to do today and it just was not a good breathing day.  As pretty as it is outside I should be feeling great!  But, sometimes I have bad timing for a bad day healthwise.  But, this too shall pass.  I just need more sleep for one thing.  I'm just feeling pulled in too many directions by too many people, and not getting my own work around here done- and feeling like I'm on overload.

I'm sure this surgery (April 28th) is weighing on my mind more than I like to think it is....along with all the other things because nothing unsual is going on around here.  I just feel a little 'testy or aggitated' for some odd reason.  I'm rarely this moody, I'm generally a pretty happy go lucky type.

So it's off to bed with me- I have a date with the sand-man and a CPAP machine and some liquid oxygen. LOL!

Hello Brenda and how are you.  I was wondering how long it took you to get your surgery date from the start of the first seminar with doctor phill?  Love to know.  Was it years, months, weeks.   Thanks Kerri323

Hey Kerri,

I've been gone for a few days, sorry if it took me a while to answer you- Lets see...

Jan1 I went to the evening seminar in Sedalia then Fed 6th I had my appointment with Dr. Phill at his office.  My insurance approved me Feb 26th and a week or so later I was given the surgery date of April 28th at 6am at Bothwell.  As I understand it, this was a fairly fast turn-around.  But I also had everything I needed to do when I went to my Dr. Phill. appointment.  I've been working on this surgery for 2 years so I was pretty darn prepared with paperwork.  I was trying to go to Little Rock, AR and pretty much knew what to do.  We had to wait almost a year for January to roll around so we could change insurance companies where my husband works.  The one we started with had a written exclusion and no way for no reason were they going to pay for surgery.  So that ate a lot of time.  But after Jan. 1st. I was good to go with a insurance company that did not have any exclusions.  Also, I have Medicare as secondary insurance and I sure hope they pick up what my regural insurance does not since Bothwell is a Center of Excellence site.

Hope your weekend was good.  I told my family about my surgery this weekend - so I'm officially 'out of the closet' about it.  What a relief!
