WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

Oh my what can you say about today except that it was just about perfect and tomorrow , Wednesday is suppose to be even better. Wow. And we have been crying for this weather,Now here it is…Don’t know how long it will stay but right now it is good, Just don’t go jumping the gun on planting anything outside. The first of May is usually a good bet but even that last year wasn’t good. REMEMBER?????

We went to my Brothers in Gainsville and got a big pickup load of black gold lol will be going back one day next week sometime to get more of the same. I wish I had a dump truck so I could go down and get a big load at once. This stuff is like growing your plants in pure fertilizer. They do so good.

TRACI: hey if I was a real landscape  designer I sure would do that. Don’t have the crew to carry out the plans I would come up with and my poor hubby couldn’t begin to do it lol

He tries to keep up with my ideas but cant .

Did you get started on your house cleaning? That is something I really hate to do. I get started on doing something then I think of something I can do outside and there goes that project down the drain. Lol

I had to laugh at you about the clock time. Bet it wasn’t too funny when you realized what time it really was. Lol

BEC: well did you and Paul get those limbs picked up and done away with? I had to laugh about the weed eater , I remember you saying that Paul like to get things with his weedeater.

It is so hard to not talk about your daughters isnt it sweetie. They are something to be proud of. It is so different in this day and time for parents to have children that they are totally and completely proud of. Just keep on bragging dear we will listen.

We are just going to stand in faith that the shoulder isnt anything that needs surgery. Hopefully with an injection or something like that can be dealt with.

BEV: please get in your protein and water the only way you are ever going to start to feel better is to get those in. You have to it isnt a matter of being bored with it or anything else, you have to no two ways about it. No you don’t have a big variety of food and even later on you may not either. I am a year and a half out from surgery and I still cant eat certain things that im allowed to have but my stomach wont take them. I cant let it get me down , I just drink my protein shake and go on. There are so many other good things about being thin that I cant let food or I wont let food stand in my way anymore.

It wasn’t your friend, it was your enemy always was and always will be. You know?

We are food addicts and the name of the game is to break that addiction, with a new way of eating and to eat to live now , not live to eat.

Love you girl and we want you around with us for a long long time.

BRITT: well did you go to Harrison ? Did you get to meet up with Brenda? She and her hubby are very nice aren’t they?

SHEILA: so glad to see you. You are getting like a lot of people and don’t get on real often anymore.

Way to go on the 75 pounds. Wow. I wont know you when I see you this month.

YOU HAD BETTER SHOW UP THIS MONTH.

I will come after you if you don’t. lol

Are you still having anxiety about the break in? You know that whom ever makes you angry or fearfull , controls you. . Is that what you want, You are letting them win twice.

Don’t you dare.

We all miss you too and sure hope you will be there the 24th.

Oh everyone Wednesday we are going back to Rogers and will be gone till Sunday but hope  I can get granddaughters computer to get online and still do the Whats Happening post.

Morning everyone Yes, the weather yesterday was GORGEOUS!  Today is supposed to be better!  I can't wait!!!  Squee!!  Today I continue on with my house cleaning, in preparation for Sunday's family event.  I got the children's rooms DONE!  And my sweet hubby helped me some in the living room and he organized the hall coat closet too.     Progress is being made.  Today we're working downstairs in the family room/children's play room.  Jan:  I don't know, if you could come up with landscape plans, I bet I could come up with a crew - somewhere, somehow!    I too am ready to plant something, but know it's way too early.  But the time is getting closer.  Okay, gotta run.  Have a great day everyone!!

Good Morning! I like most of you are so happy for the wonderful weather!  But hear of a possible bit of snow coming on the weekend? We did not get all the branches picked up but my dear husband has worked for several of his days off now and I think he told me he had cut down 7 large trees and 7 small ones... it is a constant work in progress, there is so many.    He has me out there to drive the tractor when he needs more than one set of hands.... it makes me a bit skiddish when he has me raise him all the way up in the bucket... but all went well yesterday...we have so many dead trees in the woods to the east of the house.  We try to work on them in the early Spring and late Fall when the weather is not too hot.  We set out last night after dark and watched the fire burn... it was kinda nice. Say did any of you see that program last night, it was an entertainment news program where the man had weighed nearly 900 lbs and had lost 500 and needed to have so much skin removed?  I think they said 90 lbs needed to be removed and it would cost $70,000.  They were working to raise the money, Richard Simmons was working with him.  I sure hope he gets to have that done.  After seeing what he dealth with I know his quality of life would be soooo much better.   Sheila, I got a laugh out of your "jello" problem... I hope you find the... as my J.C. Penney working daughter calls it... "shape wear" you need... doesn't that just sound so much better than a "girdle" or as I've heard and elderly friend call it... a "binder"... you can say that again! ~tee hee Mel, my prayers are with you that the very perfect will of God will be accomplished in your situation!  Children are such a gift of Him and I know He is ever so mindful of this situation!  Hang in there. I still have several things to do before l leave this afternoon for my trip to Texas... I will be stopping in Springfield to help a relative for a couple of days before heading on to see my daughter for Spring Break... I don't know when I will be able to post again. As an old minister used to say, "be blessed all over more than anywhere else"! bec

Howdy Yall....So glad to see this wonderful weather we are having!!!! Don't seem it's going to last long though.....Guess it's time to buckle up and get ready for all the spring thunderstorms coming our way....Love spring but sure hate the weather possibilies we have to go along with it.... Well we had our first support meeting last night down here in the bootheel.....There was suppose to be 3 of us to start off with but Brenda had a family emergency and couldn't make it. So it was just myself and Cindy H. We finally got to meet each other. It was great and our 2 hour meeting turned in to a 3 hour one with out us even realizing time was getting away from us lol lol....She is such a sweetie and I can't wait for Brenda and her to meet!  We hope to get some flyers made to put out soon and get around to checking with the papers to see how many will let us do a free ad now and then. I plan on putting the word out in at least a 100 mile radius. That is still a shorter drive than 4-5 hours to Springfield and St.louis. I had even thought about calling KFVS12, our local news channel and seeing if they would mention it. But then it dawned on me they might want to do a story on WLS surgery or something and I might have to be on tv!!!! That would scare me to death lol lol......I did find out from one girl I talk to about the meeting that Cape has one once a month. But their meeting is only for the Gatric by-pass people.....I don't know why they do it that way, I think it's important for any one and all types of surgery people to have a chance for support through their journey. I even hope we might draw in some that might like to attend the meeting just for support with looseing weight on their own. I think some of us that has to loose weight before surgery have a lot of info we can offer them and have been there before ourselves and could offer support for them.  Still was a good meeting even with the two of us and hopefully Brenda will make it to the next one. And hopefully we will have had a chance to get the word our a little by then and may even have a few more.... Jan...need some flower tips lol lol....I have a flower bed up againt my house that gets very little sunshine once the trees fill in.....I have a few things there that are not doing well because they don't get enough sunshine. I am going to move my elaphant ears soon so that they will be where they can get some sunlight and I hope they will do better. But I would like to have something in that area. Hopefully something I don't have to replant every year. I just know you know of something I can plant that that will be pretty and keep coming back...so when you get a chance drop me a line and let me know what you think. My whole front yard is pretty well shaded but I still want to have some flowers out there. Ok guys....Cindy and I talked about a name for our group last night but haven't come up with anything...I want it to be something that sounds friendly and comfortable. Would like it to be something to connect the meeting with our location too since we do not have much in this area in the way of support for WLS..... We even talked about something like "Bootheel COF" or "SEMO COF" (SE Missouri COF). But we were worried that it might offend someone. So if any or you have any ideas for a name, drop me a line. And I wanted to check with all of you and see if any of you remember a lady that was on the board last spring that had surgery. Her name was Kadi and after she had surgery she stoped posting....I would like to contact her and see how she is doing and a to let her know that there is a local support meeting starting. So if any of you know her or have any info on her please let me know.... A big WELCOME to all of our newbies......Hope all of you that have had surgery lately are doing well and for those of you that are preparing for surgery....CONGRARTS!!! Looking forward to having ya on the loosers bench.... Well guys got to get off and get some house work done... Still working on Spring cleaning and getting my house back in order from everyone moving out....I sure could use another me for a few days lmbo!!!! Hope you all have a great Wednesday... God Bless each of you.... Luv & Hugs...Tammy~ammy

Bat wings - LOL, my whole body is beginning to look like a sack.  My sis said she was going to come up behind me and just start twisting loose skin and secure it with a rubber band. I am now officially a size 16 and some of those look too big on me but they are going to have to wait a bit.  I need some size 16 tall jeans if anyone has any, I will pay the cost of mailing them or if in Springfield this weekend I could pick them up if anyone is in that area.  Have to a grandchild fix! I start physical therapy this afternoon - still very scared that I will not get my feet working again like they are supposed to.  Am asking for prayers... Shannon
