WHATS HAPPENING FOR MONDAY

Here it is Sunday night and I am totally worn out. Taking care of a one year old is hard work in itself but a SICK one year old is so nerve wracking. He had an ear infection and the doctor gave him amoxicillin which he was evidently allergic to. Poor baby threw up and threw up till he was getting dehydrated. We were putting an ounce of pedilite down about every hour. After we quit giving the amocillin. Then he developed diarrhea, bad , green , watery. Finally this morning he seemed to be better and we gave 2 oz of pedisure, he kept it down  but was begging for more. Hopefully he kept it all down today. So heart wrenching when a baby like that is sick and even as sick as he was he still wasn’t really bad.

I know I am tired and sore I guess from carrying him around so much. Not a real big boy but 20 pounds is a lot when your muscles don’t do right.

TRACIE: how did you family reunion go? I hope it went as well as you wanted and every one was agog over how clean your house was. Lol

I bought a jar of each at one of the big wal marts here but don’t know if it will be available at other ones.

TAMMY :Sure do hate that you fell and are sore. Older bones are still older bones aren’t they ? we may feel better with the weight loss but it still hurts when we fall or something.

I don’t think im a good one to tell you what sort of menu to sit up , I try to do 3 protein shakes (at least) andby the time I do that I don’t have a lot of room for anything else other than all my water. So as far as food is concerned I get what I can eat but not a lot.

As far as exercise I have never really gotten exercise in cause I live so far out, but I do a lot of walking, and it seems to help. All you need for that is shoes.

Take care of you and keep up the good work. Just remember keep your eye on the prize .

To all the newbies that I probably have missed this week, Welcome to the board and feel free to post on here all you want to.

I think we are suppose to start getting rain again starting sometime on Monday…

And thru Tuesday…We don’t need it right now but maybe it will stay around long enough to raise the water tables and keep us from having a drought this year.I am just hoping that this spring we don’t have that late freeze like we did last year. At the Master gardeners class that I went to , they said there was over 3 billion dollars worth of crop damages to southern . Can you imagine. Makes my flowers seem to be not much in that realm of things lol

I have Forsythia and daffodils in bloom right now. And my lilacs have buds on them. Will go out and look really well tomorrow to see what all is doing what.

How about where you are do you have anything blooming?

Love to all and

GOD BLESS

Morning everyone They're calling for some thunderstorms it looks like here.  We need warmer temps and for them to stay:  our furnace went out.    I would rather wait to replace that closer to fall than right now.  We have electric heaters and two gas fireplaces, so we're not going to freeze, but still if it gets really cold outside, it does get chilly in here. The family event yesterday was a huge success.  No one commented on the clean house, and it doesn't look nearly as clean now that everyone has gone as it did when they got here.    But they did all rave about the food.  And the children loved the Easter egg hunt.  So it was all good.  Jan:  nothing worse than sick babies!!  Poor little guy.  I'm praying he gets to feeling better quickly!   On that peanut butter, I know that our Walmart doesn't carry it, but did see a store in Rolla that does, so I'll go there and get it.  I bet it would be worth the trip.  Welcome to all the newbies!!!   Have a great day everyone!

Happen to be at the office today and got a chance to log on and do a bit of a post.  Feeling pretty good this weekend with except for a mistake I made which was all my fault.  Had a wedding Sat. night and ate 2 bites of wedding cake.  Its my favorite of all sweets.  Said no to a half a dozen people who asked if I had tried it and then willpower went right out the window, lol.  I payed for it, but boy it was sure good. LANA Thanks again for the liq. protein advise.  It is really going good so far.  Do you order yours off the internet?  I went to GNC Friday to get more and they said they are no longer going to carry it in their stores, figures.  Where do you get yours from? JAN Sorry to hear your grandbaby is so sick.  It is so hard when they are at that age and they have no idea what sick is.  You cant explain to them what sick is like you can to a older child.  Hope he feels better soon. Still hoping to have internet on by the first of the month.  Trying to go thru the cable company and having a few issues.  Will be great to be back again.  Take care. Susan

Just a quick post - I'm at work
Susan, I get my New Whey by Googling New Whey and just look for the cheapest price. It's still pricey but it works for me so I'm willing to pay for it. I have orange right now but like grape better.
Jan, I found Peanut Butter and Company peanut butter at Dillons in Springfield, both the 1707 W. Battlefield (at Kansas Expressway) and 2843 E. Sunshine (between Glenstone and 65). I'm going to go get some today.
Thanks for the good review of it.
Hugs to all of you.
