Hey does anyone know where I can find the slimfast high protein, in the 8 pk. or even 12? I was in ft. scott and checked walgreens and walmart, no slimfast high protein, and ended up buying 6 6pk.s of the boost. they are only 8 oz. compared to the 11 oz, of the slimfast, and say nothing about hunger control, not even to mention that the itty bitty 8 oz , 6pk. cost 8.94 at walmart! I noticed that someone refered to the boost as shakes, mine doesn't say that, could I have gotten the wrong thing? I want the most for my money , but more importantly the extra 3 oz of slimfast shake amounts to 15 oz. more of hunger control  per day , on the 2 wk. liquid diet. Where to find it, I need a total of 70! thanks, susan

Sorry hon, I don't know - my Walmart does carry the high protein Slim Fast.  Is there another Walmart close by you could call to see if they have it?  It might be worth a bit of a drive to get it.

The Sam's Club here in Springfield has the Slimfast for a low carb diet in 12 packs.  (20 gr protein, 4 gr carbs). Do you have a Sam's close to you?

I don't really know, My Dr requires a two week liquid diet prior to surgery, and that was one of two options. If you go on the walgreens web site and type in slimfast high protein you can click on the nutrition details and it will give you all of the values vitamins , calories, carbs, etc etc, I f you have a prob, let me know i'll get on there and post it for you.

If you go to the counter at Sams they will give you a one day pass, you have to pay an extra ten percent but they have the 12 packs

There are two version of SlimFast, don't be deceived by the name of the SlimFast... I found the Low Carb version had more protein in it than the High Protein version!!  Read your labels. I typically can find it at Schnucks in the pharmacy department. You really should consider simply buying Protein powder and mix it yourself - I hear Walmart has an inexpensive brand they sell.  Then take sugar-free pudding and add to it to make different flavors to keep your taste buds happy.  The benefit of mixing it yourself too is that you can add ice cubes with it in a blender and it makes a large tumbler full.  Those of use who have been where you are understand the importance of bulk, not just calories or protein.  You need to fill that stomach up to keep the hunger away - at least until the time when you have a small tummy. Good luck!

hello and good morning to you all! I am fairly new to all of this. I am trying to get approved for WLS and was told by the surgeon I chose that I have to lose 60 lbs before he will perform my surgery. ( I have Humana as my insurance carrier and there were strict guidelines as to the surgeon and the surgery has to be performed in a hospital as apposed to a surgical center or I would have chosen another surgeon) Needless to say it is not easy for me to drop 60 lbs or quite frankly I wouldn't be in the situation I am in. Can anyone give me any tips on how to lose this weight quickly? As soon as I hit the 60 lb mark they will perform the surgery. thanks and have a good day!
