WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

We almost didn’t remember how to act today, two  days in a row that had sunshine. But it started raining about 6:30 here. They said that down here along the Ark White River .

 

   Any way I spent most of the day weeding and repoting things in the green house. . Just a lot of dirt work lol  getting hands dirty and loving every minute of it.

 

 

TRACI: wow more puppies? I cant believe you have that many pets to take care of plus your babies. Lol no wonder you are always so busy. You don’t keep your weight off by eating right , confess, it is because you run for about 16 hours a day don’t you?

The pictures of the new babies are adorable. Makes me want to have one of them. Then I become rational again, I know I don’t have time for a precious little house pet. We do have a dog but he is outside and even tho he thinks he is a lap dog he isnt. He is spoilt rotten would hate to see a pretty little house dog and how he would be spoilt. Lol

 

 

JANET: So this doctor doesn’t think that the nerve burning is an option or what?

I was hoping you would get something done yesterday , should have known that they like to take their time.

If you had of had the nerves burnt in your back yesterday what would you have done. I don’t think you are suppose to drive after that is done.

 

Oh my lord , you mean the new place the kids moved to, there was a murder. I don’t blame her for being freeked out. I would be too. . must be linked to something or other that they were investigating Just know that I will be praying for them and where they are. Wow.

 

 

BECKY: well did you get all your pots and such picked up today?

Im glad your doctor is trying some new med for the stomach distress.

So did you get a lot of blood drawn? You said it was a physical right?

Did they check you for pregnancy .lol   I told someone that the other day they were asking me if I had this or that and was I allergic to this thingor that thing. And I looked at them and said but I am pregnate. She laughed , can you believe that????

 

 

TAMMY  H::::   so good to see you again. been awhile since you were here. We miss you. Your family is so varied and has so many members that it is easier to pray a blanket prayer over your household members lol. Im don’t mean to be callous.Know that I love you and your family and only want the best for them.

 

 

 

BEV: HEY  those sugar free brownies sound really good. Have you tried them yet? What kind of protein powder did you use in them . Some powder wont work to bake it will it.?

 

Im really proud of you and your new bike. That is awesome. You have the right idea about rewarding your self but not with food.  You are doing great

Keep up the good work. Just remember to get in those 3 to 4 protein shakes a day. VERY IMPORTANT. .

So how do you like your new Pcp? I wish we were all lucky enough to have Tammy Vs. Pcp, she is a weight loss surgery patient too.

It is true about your back and stuff . when you start losing weight you lose your center of gravity and probably lose some muscle too since you lose so fast. And you can have  some  bad  accidents and pulled muscles.

 

The protein bars I use are from  www.freshengerybakery.com  they are 42 grams of protein per bar and are a little pricy but they are worth it really. There are 2 big bars per package and are like 2.20 per package. So you can order as few or as many as you want.

They are sort of crunchy and chewy. But not a lot of googy stuff.

CHRISTINE:::::yes that happens with friends and relatives about thinking that all we need to do is go on weigh****chers or some other diet  AGAIN!!!! they don’t realize how dis heartening it is to do that stuff  again and again do they?

Glad that you have a great friend ship with her that she can still support you.

 

 

 

MELISSA::: wow cant they arrest him for stalking? What are they waiting for?

At the least it is harressment . All the phone calls to the dfs and police is evidence enough inst it?

We all will be praying and praying for you . Don’t worry God will protect

You.

Just pray that God cover you and your family with his full coat of armor. Ok?

 

 

 

One more thing , Is there anyone out there that has had weight loss surgery that would like to be an angel to some of these new people?  If you would like to be an angel let me know and any one that wants an Angel also let me know.   Love all of you.

Morning everyone! Oh my - what a lovely day it was yesterday!!  SUNSHINE!!!!  This morning, thunder and rain.    Anyone wanna guess how much fun I'll have today taking a new puppy outside to potty in the pouring down rain?!  Jan:  well, you guessed my long-kept true weight loss secret:  the surgery was a failure, it was really all these kids and dogs that did it to me.    I am busy.  Between my husband, children, a house to keep, all the dogs, cats, web design business, women's ministry and duties at church + the WLS support group I lead:  now you know why I get up at 4-5am and usually don't get to bed until around 9pm.  It makes for a very full day. Dear Jan and OH Peeps~ Woke up to a lot of fog here today, we are suppose to have thunderstorms off and on all day today and tomorrow. I hope we dont, have a lot of things outside we want to get finished and the rain will definitely put a damper on that! Plus, we need to mow already! I actually got some relief from the horrible pain yesterday-for almost 4 hours. I couldnt believe it. And then I did something really stupid-I overdid it-because I felt so good. When the meds wore off, I was really sorry I didnt just take it easy, but darn, it felt so wonderful to just be around a 5-6 for the pain level. For a couple of hours it didnt dictate ME and what I was going to do for the time being. The fruit trees have buds on them-and the most beautiful flowers-it reminds me of dogwood trees-pink and white. The cherry tree has the pink and the apple have white. My tulips are coming up too!~ We are pretty excited here-we got our garden tilled on Tues. Now we are going to start our long list of veggies we are planting. I cant wait to get some more flowers and hang the flower baskets from the shepherd hooks that my kiddos got me last year for Mothers Day. Our cat, Abby, is pregnant. Dang it-We had taken her to the vet to have her fixed and he wanted to wait for another month or so because we dont know exactly how old she is-and that month went by and another 2, LOL....So, now we are having kitties. I hope they are as sweet as Abby. I have homes for 2 of them already and they arent even born yet. The daddy is Tigger and he is HUGE and orange. I may be keeping one if we get another orange kitty. I dont know if I told you that I passed my hunter safety course and only missed one ? out of 25. I questioned myself-erased the correct answer-LOL...anyhow-when Mike was at his big race in KC, he sold 4 of his slot cars, in anticipation of me passing the hunters course so he could get me a present.  So, we are going to go to Academy and figure out what I get~YAY~I sincerely hope I can turkey hunt with him and not get on his nerves. (yah, right). I have been target practicing with Mikes cross bow-and I got 4/4 the other night with the turkey target! The last time I shot his cross bow-I weighed almost 450# and I had my face on the stock and when I pulled the trigger, it knocked me backwards, right on my butt-and bloodied my nose and lips AND knocked a tooth out! Ive been afraid of it ever since. Now that I dont have all the extra weight, I can actually look through the scope and dont have any body parts on the crossbow except in my shoulder (like a shotgun or rifle) My dogs arent very happy with us right now-the chocolate lab, he kept getting out-we just rebuilt several sections of privacy fence that surrounds their pen area-well, we fixed both of them, we now have a couple of cattle panels inside the wooden fence-and they cant get out. Well, the house deal fell through for my back child support. Not only did the people not show up for court-but they didnt pay their attny off-so he didnt show up either. In 10 days they have forfeited anything left on the property and my ex can take control back of the house-which he was going to put on the market and sell. Well, he informs me last night that he and his latest flavor of the month are moving back to KS this month to live in that house. Not only did he ask me to sign off on the back child support so he can be closer to his girls (whatever) and he doesnt want to worry about getting arrested since he is at the felony level for back support-but he had enough nerve to ask me if he could use Stephanie on his taxes-I asked him if he had lost his mind? We got 3 pmts for the whole year of 2007 and I am suppose to let you claim her-lose her as a deduction on MY taxes and then when the IRS takes your tax return and gives it to ME (as they always do) it will give you a couple thousand dollars-but its MY deduction and we would end up paying in-WHATEVER....go take some more of the drugs you must be on to even THINK you can use her on your taxes. He didnt file last year anyway-he just thinks that since he is dying he doesnt have to do anything law wise. We dont want him back here-even Stephanie doesnt want him back here. She has come so far already and I know if she has to start dealing with him again, its going to be rough on her. I have the spring cleaning itch right now. I just want to start on one end of the house to the other and get rid of anything and everything that causes clutter and get organized. Thats going to be a big one for me. I finally can do some of the things I couldnt before-and if I dont over do it, I can start and make some progress.....Yay. Tomorrow is Darrels 14th b-day. He wants to go fishing for his birthday. Told him he could have a party however he wanted it-like Chuck E Cheese or the Race place etc-and he said that he would let us know. Told him that he could have some friends over and I would make sure Jon was either with Grandparents or Megan so that he wouldnt bug them the whole time! I cant believe it-the kids are just growing up so fast I cant keep up with them! He has come such a long, long way-and we are so close now-I think him seperating himself from his biological womb has really been a Godsend. He doesnt have to deal with all the mental issues and games she always played on him and our family. Stephanie has been doing some wonderful things in her art club and setting herself up for a Graphic Designer course at the community college the beginning of 2008-2009 school year. She just had one of her projects displayed in the school trophy case, another one displayed at the mall-and we just found out that one of her poems won a national contest. She actually gets an award and monetary too! The ceremony is May 4th I believe, and if she isnt on her field trip to Texas, we will be going to it. **Jan-the murder wasnt at Megans new place-that would have been in Springfield. They wont be moving until Megan gets done with school here-just a couple more weeks. 5-6 I believe. They put money down on the townhouse-and then they were denied due to Aarons credit score being too low-and now that they are married, his credit is her credit.  They are still looking. One of Mikes best buddies has moved to Springfield and he is in the police academy right now there-and he is verifying addresses and such for us-to make sure they dont end up on the wrong side of town, if you know what I mean. Im glad he can do that for us.  They may end up on campus-but they cant have the fur baby there-so I may have him for a year or so. I am still having the nerves burned in my back-but I am having that done in Springfield, not KC...The dr I saw on Tues is a pain management doc, and I will have to see her again in 6 weeks and then every 3 months after. She said that I may get relief from the procedure, but will have to deal with the other aches and pains. No, I couldnt have driven home from that, and Steph cant drive Megans car-so I wouldve had to make other arrangements. **Christine-I am sorry about the situation with your roomate. I hope that they will be supportive of your decision and not doubt you or what you believe is best for you. Thats always hard pre-op. I will keep you in my prayers. **Tammy-Ammy-girl, you know your in my prayers. Wish we would have had that talk yesterday. I know you have so much on your plate right now-just remember to take care of YOU first-and all 4 of those kids-they are old enough to take care of themselves-and not lay everything on you!!! Love you and take care of YOU...Please? **Bec-you are such a inspiration! I dont think you realize that you do that for so many people. I always include you in my prayers and I know that God will bless you! **Bev-congrats on your weight loss! I hope you are feeling better. **Bobbie Jo-I wondered if you had fallen off the face of the earth-LOL...I would hide from the sick ones in your family too! This year seems 10 times worse than ever-people just keep passing this crud back and forth! I hope and pray that the sick ones get healthy and that you and your other kiddos dont get it! **Mel-I am so glad you guys got your numbers changed. I hate what Mark is putting you guys through and I am praying like crazy that he will get sick of playing his games-but I dont think he will. Just hang in there-it will all work out in the long run! Good morning OH friends....It's a little *****illy out today and a few rain drops I sure hope it clears up and gets warmer... Well, yesterday evening we went and picked up my friends bike mine won't be in until tomorrow hopefully.  We got a bike rack also and put that on the back of my car.  I rode my friends bike some last night now my knee hurts a little.  I can't wait to be able to pick up my bike and we both can ride together that will be so much fun. My friend and I went to Applebees last night (BIG MISTAKE)....  I ordered a small 7oz steak with salad and mashed potatoes.  I knew I would never be able to eat all of that but I got it anyway.  I ate a few very small bites of my salad including 1/2 of a slice of cucumber.  When they brought my steak it was tough so I sent it back and the got me another one I ate one small bite of that and then I was sick I couldn't eat any more.  I was then stupid and accidently out of habbit took a drink of water after eating and when I do that it doesn't feel good.  When I got home I still wasn't feeling good so I just sat in a chair for a while then all of a sudden I had to make a mad dash to the bathroom to throw up.  I felt better after I did that but then I tried to drink some water by this time it had been well over the 30 min. I was supposed to wait, well the water didn't go down so well.  It seems like the only cooked meat that I do ok with is ground beef and sometimes dark meat chicken.  I can do like deli turkey thats ok too.  I don't know for some reason a lot of things that I should be able to eat doesn't agree with me and I don't understand why?  I guess everyones different?  Maybe I should just drink the protein shakes and forget about eating food? Has anyone ever ordered things from Bariatriceating.com for instance they have like packaged cookie and brownie mixes things like that?  I was going to try those but wanted to see if anyone has tried them? I am taking my puppies in tomorrow to get shaved.  They are going to get a lion cut (face, tail, feet left long) they have never had this done before so I'm sure they won't like it.  They are high maintance in the grooming cause of their cotton like fur, they need groomed like every day and when I was so sick after surgery I couldn't keep up with that and so they got matted and instead of putting them through all the pain of getting the mats out I thought I would just start all over and have them shaved and also it will be cooler for them this summer.  I will have to take pics and post them.   I had to go to my sisters house last night to drop off something and we were standing out side by the driveway I had on some pants that were too big for me and she kept telling me to pull up my pants cause they were hanging off me!  I thought that was funny I never thought I would have people telling me that my clothes are too big?  I am going shopping this weekend maybe I will get some new pants that fit better I also need some new bra's mine are so big now that I'm sagging and we can't have that now...lol  I lost like 10 inches in my bust the very place that I really didn't need to lose any....lol   Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday.....this is my Friday really cause I have the next 5 days off....yeah!!!! Hi Jan...it is cloudy and thundery here today too...yesterday was so beautiful.   It just figures I would be off today.     I'm still fairly new, but I live right by meg and Christine and would be happy to volunteer for angel duty.  I sure wish I would have had one in my beginning stages....Now I have lots of them in all of you!!!!!!!!!     Anything I can do to help.

Haha Jan no wasnt being chased just yelled at about not feeling good need medicine can I play blah blah blah and on and on ......Went back to DR today hubby is better.... daughter is not and now I have double ear infections lol I told the DR to lock me away for a month or two till they were all well my ears werent even hurting me she just wanted to check me since I was nursing all the sickos back to health lol anyway we are all still kicking ..............Went to Walmart in Columbia today after the doctor and the hail started and by the time it ended the whole parking lot was covered and it looked like it had snowed it was crazy! I hope everyone is doing good see you all around soon.... gotta go give medicines out yet again

Hi, Jan and MO Peeps: Wow, today was a hard day.  We went to Luke's friend's furneral this morning.  The church was packed.  I would guess there were over 500 people.  The whole football team was there and a lot of other students.  The Pastor gave the A B C's of salvation.  I truly hope some of those kids did accept the Lord as their Savior.  Luke seems to be better this evening.  However, is he to come early from play practice because his stomach was hurting.  The rest of the family has had that horrible stomach thing going around and it looks like Luke is the last one to get it.  Please pray he is better within a day or so.  Jake and David only had it one day.  I had it 4 days! I am hoping to get my laundry done and the checkbook balanced tomorrow.  Erin and Kameron are spending the night to night, so I'm not sure how much I will actually get done!  Please pray for Erin (my 24 year old stepdaughter) she was laid off from work on Tuesday.  This is her FOURTH lay off in less than a year!  She's a loan processor and as we all know the mortgage industry is really bad right now.  She felt like things were really slow so she actually interviewed with another company last week and had breakfast with the woman she would be working for yesterday.  The lady said she was going out of town this weekend, however, would let Erin know early next week about the job.  Please pray she gets it! Well, it's been a long day.  Hope everyone has a good Friday and a GREAT weekend!  My husband and Jake have an Eagle Project to help with Saturday morning.  Then we all have an Eagle Court of Honor to attend Saturday night.  Or course, My Eagle Scout, Luke, would like to be well enough to attend.  We will see.
