hopefully this will be the last surgery for awhile and I'LL BE able to eat. 4.5 months NPO is too long; Dr. James Kraatz will correct Dr. Scott's mistake and hopefully I'LL be on the mend as quickly as I HAVE been.
MY FIRST 12 surgeries were starting in August 20, with the original one, after being left open for 6 weeks and many washings, Dr. MacIntyre closed me up but left a fistular. Dr. Kraatz made one opening on December 15, and after 1 month in the Burn ICU I Came home where healing went fast, but have been only on tube feedings, meds through the tube and water through the tube, nothing by mouth. Now I'VE made enough progression that my Dr. KRAATZ is going to go after the fistular and hopefully he said, i'll be home that same week and healing will go equally fast.
IN this period I've lost 168 pounds, 1 1/2 inches in height, but gained my health except for the pesky fistular.
pLEASE pray for courage for me, peace for my two daughters in elementary school, and strength for my precious.
