one week post op visit

  Yeah!!!  went to the doc today , everything looks great , I can now how some real "food" Stopped at kfc got a small mash pot. and gravy, I ate 4 bites , that was it, I guess the surgery might just work after all lol lol  I am full, and feeling 100x better. Thanks for bearing with me. I am hoping to find a support group closer to home, i posted on the kansas board, no one answered yet.  thanks all again, susan

lol you go girl---I ate and still eat them as of this day and I'm out 3 months---Keep up the good work chick!!!

So where's your "ticker"?  You know we all want to know how much!!!!  We're nosey like that...lol.  Just FYI...the pouches of flavored mashed potatoes you can get at the store are REALLY good...esp if you mix them in chicken broth and make like a potato soup....glad to hear you are doing great!

Im like Nancy so how much did you lose?  when i had my one week visit , Brenda had hers at the same time we went over to KFC too and ordered pots and gravy just one for the both of us and we both together ate such a small amount that at least 4 other wls patients could have had it too lol  Most people swear they are so hungry about this time but when given the ok to go eat something can eat very little and they then really realize that most of the hunger is head hunger. we think we are suppoe to eat or we will starve lol  Glad that things were great. take care ok , and sip and sip and sip.
