Awesome Support Group Meeting!!!

Hello Beautiful Butterflies, I just wanted to say thank you sooo much for coming today I had a fabulous time it was so nice meeting all of you.  I can't wait til the next meeting and our exercise group!!!  ~Angie!

It really was a great meeting.  We have an awesome group.  Thanks Angie for all your effort..  BTW did we come up with  a start date for the exercise group?  See ya next time. 

Hi Deb,  We kicked around the idea of when to meet for the exercise group but didn't really come up with a day.  I'm going to go to the Library monday and set up our days and see when is avaliable for our exercise group so we can tie down a day.  I didn't get a pic of you---I forgot about the camera until you called about your tea.  But next time I'll get ya lol! 

Angie how many did you have at your meeting? that is awesome that you all are starting one there. I hope you all become as close friends as we are here in Springfield..Our support group is awesome too. So are you the leader of the group? who all was there? tell us all about it for the ones that cant come that far..lol  

Hi Jan,  There were 6 of us including myself, Ricki, Deb, Karen, Roxie and Michele.  We had a really good time sharing  and getting to know each other.  I hope maybe we can all car pool to one of the Circle of Friends Support Groups someday and meet you all.  I guess I kinda am the leader---I applied with OH to become and official Support Group.  We had a remember each other's name game then a little find out something about everyone game then we took turns sharing about our journey--when the weight started, where the turning point was when you decided to have surgery, etc.  We did decide on a name--we're the Beautiful Butterflies!  We chose that name because we're all coming out of our cacoons (weight) and developing into healthy beautiful people.  We laughed, we cried, we had a really great time.  I can't wait til the next one.  We did decide to have a clothing Exchange next month I'll let you know more details after I get the date nailed down for sure.  We'd like to invite EVERYONE on the Missouri board to come and bring the clothes you've SHRUNK (right Karen lol) out of and find something "new".  We're also going to do a potluck lunch.  More details to come!!! ~Angie!

Hello back @ ya  I enjoyed s.group so much today it was awesome sharing with one another we laughed and we cried and was awesome .  Thanks Angie you are AWESOME!!!!!!!   Thanks for taking the bull by the horn and leading us Buttrflies. you all don't know what you missed Nannagray and Camdenton gal sorry forgot you name hope to see ya after you all have your surgery @ meeting and my prayers are with all 3 of you for 12th you will be just fine keep in touch. I feel like I have know you girls forever and i just met ya today Angie Deb Ricki Rockie Michelle and me Karen look forward to having more next time     Later Karen
