WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

I have put up some pictures of the shade garden and the garden tea party on my profile so if any of you want to go take a look lol We really had a great time. My sister prepared the food , I would have to have her tell you what all she served but if was delicious. Wonderful foods that she made herself. I know what we had but not the great names she called it. Like the mini croissants sandwiches of homemade chicken salad. Was so, so great. .all of it was that is what of it I could eat. But I got down most of it.

We had some really beautiful weather today even if it was windy. For the first time in a long time I had no cold feet or hands. It got up to 88 here today. Wow I never use to be able to handle that sort of temps.

Got a phone call from my PCP today telling me that all of my labs looked wonderful and that what ever I was doing or what ever I was taking to just continue along and stay healthy.I told her that I intended to that to not take all of the vits and minerals that I take isnt an option. Im going to stop in there tomorrow and get copies made of my labs so I can take a copy of them to Dr. H. on the first of June at the support group in Sedalia

I planted up two more pots of wave petunias today and then  will use several reg. petunias that I have to plant in the window boxes in front. Right now I still have Panseys in them and so far they are doing allright. And look good .

I have to go today to have my yearly mammogram done. The annual smashing of the boobs. Lol I hope after last years fiascos with seeing a lump , not seeing a lump, seeing a lump and then again not isnt repeated this year. With all the pictures they took last year they should have a good basis background to compare too.

SHEILA:::: how is the roaring in your head? Has that gone away yet?? I do hope you are feeling better it has gone on long enough you know. It has been close to a month hasn’t it? That is way too long.

Get well.

VESTA::::: well how are you feeling since your had your plastic surgery, are you still sore?  Hope you are healing great from all of that. Are you going to try to come to meeting next Tuesday??? Would love to see you.

Oh wanted to thank you for getting a plant sent to Melissa moms funeral. Do we all owe you something for that? Let us know ok?

ANGY::::: how long have you had your garden planted??? Maybe it just hasn’t had time yet. The weather was a little cool so that could be the cause. IF it hasn’t been at least two weeks I would say wait until it is two weeks before you start in tearing it up again.

JANET:::::well I hope you are gone on your vacation. But if not , don’t answer phone calls, don’t do any chores like running and going here and there.

Hope Mikes dad is getting better.will continue to pray for him.

Glad that at least you all got a fishing trip  in last night. How much did those bass weigh.

Have fun if possible.

CRAIG::::looking forward to seeing you on the first of June too. Hopefully a lot of people will show up. So glad that you now have a home and have all your family and friends around you. So when do you start playing for the Sunday services in your new church?

ANDREW:::: So great to talk to you on the phone yesterday afternoon.

I am glad that the rain has stopped some too. We over in this area are like 14 inches above normal for this time of year lol

Good to know that Susans dad is doing ok. I know that is a relief for Susan and You.

You know you are always welcome on this board and at least I try to welcome everyone and try to answer everyones questions. Sometimes Im not real sure what to say but have to spend some time in prayer before I answer them.

Really really glad you are back and will get to be seeing more of you soon, I hope.

BEVERLY  B::::well girl it doesn’t matter how long you are gone you still are family don’t you know?

Well I know you are one proud  grandma with all the graduating that was going on there.

Hope you got those Tomato plants planted yesterday.

NANCY :::::lol you know the saying , ?”you snooze you lose” that is always the way I feel if I go somewhere for a few days and come back. Takes me a while to read everything that has gone on. Lol

Hey glad that garden is doing well. And I bet that rabbit was thinking oh wow in just a week or so I will have good stuff here to eat. Lol

Glad

The playhouse ,slide ,swing thingy sounds really great. What I wouldn’t have given for a think like that when I was a kid but we had to be happy with a tire swing and felt like we were really lucky to have that.

You will have to take some pictures of the patio in the process of being done and the finished project when you do it.

Sounds really nice.

1 to 2 pounds a week is a great weight loss really, that is about eight pounds a month that doesn’t take long to get to where you want you know?

Good luck and keep up the good work, protein drinks and water and exercise.

Oh that will be so great if you can come to the picnic. Yeah I think you will recognize some of us …I may make up a sign that says MO/OH or something like that.

DEBBIE D:::::like the new picture girl. That is good.

You bet I love good deals. That is always so neat to get something as cheap as I did those doors. And they are brand new six paneled doors.

You know I fight the snacking demons all the time, I drink 3 to 4 protein drinks a day and still want to snack, I know im not hungry but the snacking thing really kicks my butt most days or I should say at night when im up by myself and either doing this post or watching something I recorded on tv. And doesn’t matter that they are sugar free things, they still have the bad carbs in them. Seems like the more you snack on them that they are really addictive. I didn’t do any of them at all for a long long time but then I bought this and then that and soon I was doing it all the time. Maybe the answer is to not have it in the house at all and make a rule that if anyone else in the house wants snacks they will have to buy them and eat them away from home. Lol

I don’t know if mine is stress or what , I don’t know what I am stressing about if it is. Lol

Take care and if you find the answer to the snack eating other than just making ourselves not do it for about a week then we would maybe be over it.

Love and take care.

 GOD BLESS

The "Garden Tea Party" was a big success...except for my friend that got car sick on the way down and had to lay in the house to recover! I am so glad I dont and never have had that problem!!! But another girl that went had one of those wrist electrical stimulators that Mary tried on the way home and she didnt get sick on the way back! It supposedly sends a electric shock to the acupuncture point on the wrist. It came from Bass Pro for about $100. Anyone know of a cheaper place to get one? Let me know and I will get one for Mary so she wont get sick everytime we go somewhere... The food was good even if I say so myself...The menu was:   Mini Chicken Salad Croissants, made with toasted walnuts, 2 kinds of grapes, and bacon Next we had Napa Cabbage Slaw with Asian Dressing There was a Serrano-Mint Fruit Cup served consisting of honeydew, cantaloupe, watermelon and grapes with a serrano pepper and mint infused syrup. Lastly was a Lemon Crumb Cake served with a drizzle of lemon sauce I served all of these things on antique dishes that carry a flower theme....The flower theme was everywhere. Even in the gift bag items, the place cards and napkin rings. In other words, it was a BLOOMIN' GOOD PARTY!  Jan's garden was super,  wonderful,  and great!!!! I know there werent as many flowers blooming as she would have liked but it was still beautiful. Especially the shade garden where we had lunch. The wind was blowing fairly hard but we managed to not blow away! Joe was a big help with everything from helping me get the chairs set up around the tables to serving food and even washing up my dishes afterwards. Get this, he hand washed them because he didnt think I would want him to put them in the dishwasher!!! WHAT A GUY!!!!! Thanks so much Joe!  Dont think I could have done it with out ya!  He even helped plate up the food and brought coffee out to the women later! Then when it was all said and done, he loaded it all back up for me. Sis, I would keep him if I was you... I hope that everyone has a great day today....

Hey Jan. Morning. Thank you for the reply...yeah its kinda nice to be a home owner for a change. I cant help but to think of that bible verse that talks about offerings..you give and he shall give back press down, shaken and running over....Iam always thankful for all his blessings he bestows on us. As for playing in church. LOL Iam sure it wont be long. The lady who plays the piano plays by ear like I do. But I also play by some notes. Her son plays the piano also..On Mothers day, all the mothers lined up in front and all us Guys sung to them and he played the piano...It was pretty awesome....Well, cant wait to see you and Joe and all the others on the 1st. I think it will be fun...Hopefully the ones that were there last year and preop will be there so we can see what they look like now.....Well, take care and keep on planting and growing..your buddy .........Craig Lee

Hey Y'all, Wow Jan,  the pics are great,  looks as if you've doubled your gardens since I was there last, they look so beautiful, can't wait to see them in person again.  Today has been a good day, a kind of back to basics day.  I've started out doing what I did when I was trying to lose weight before surgery, hopefully that'll help jump start my pouch to get back into the game. I walked down to the end of the road and back, sure was nice out to walk,  i wish the weather would stay like this all year around.  Craig its so awesome to see your singing in church, that is so awesome,  you go spongebob craig   lol.  Right now I lead the music in the sunday morning worship services, I just love singing for the Lord, even tho I dont have the voice for it, its so rewarding,  Im gonna miss that when we move but Im so looking forward to the new chapter that God has for us.  Suga is so great to see how well you've done,  my hats off to ya!!! Well Im gonna go watch American Idol,  should be a great show tonight.  Y'all have a great night. Bless ya's Andrew
