WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

I did something today,Wednesday,  that I haven’t done in years probably about 17 or 18 years to be exact. I used a push mower and mowed for over 3 hours.I was so happy that I could do that. I was mowing and smiling.

After mowing I helped Joe gather up and load onto a trailer all the metal stuff we found in and around the rent house. Like 2 ref. a huge big steel cabinet and lots of other goodies. Hopefully it will be worth our while to take this stuff to Harrison . We will see.

 

Other than all of that work that is all I managed to do yesterday. I feel good really except tired , really tired. But shouldn’t have any trouble sleeping .

 

 

TAMMY-AMMY::::::isnt this surgery wonderful? Sometimes I catch a glimpse of myself in a store window or something and wonder who that is, then realize it is me. But yeah I know just how you felt then and now.

Im sure you will do great leading your group over there. Make it like COF and they will sort of lead themselves. I hope to have a new question each month to ask everyone to include with their introduction. Good way to break the ice I think., maybe.

 

 

 

AMY::::: lol you write with such a sence of humor. I would love to meet you sometime. Hope you and yours will try to make the MO. OH REUNION in Sept this year in Branson.

I saw on tv yesterday what a horrible night it was for some people Tuesday night. We didn’t get anything tho.

You said you were a much smaller size , how much smaller? Are you doing ok?

BECKY::::: hope you didn’t get any bad wind Tuesday night? My flowers and grass looked like it hadn’t been touched in a month. some of my flowers grew a lot in such a short time. That is weird huh. I do have some new Carnations in bloom. They are yellow. And one is white and a bright red one too. This is the first year for them so they are sort of thin but will improve as the years go .

Will be so neat that you send me pictures of your flowers as they grow.

Tell your sister Hello for Mimi lol and you two girls have a good time.

JANET:::::We will just have to arrange some time with you soon. So how are you feeling?

That was just horrible about your freezer, I think I would have cried too. That is so sad.

And is really sad when you have a big family to feed.

 

Well maybe you can go to beauty school or barber school when you get to feeling better. When are you scheduled for your other surgery you were suppose to have???

I was afraid she would do that , just quit the classes anyway. Sure sounds like she is doing drugs or drinking or something.

Im like you wonder what the 185 was for. No telling that is for sure. It is very hard to accept the fact that someone else needs to help and doesn’t .

Don’t second guess your parent hood , you are always there for your kids  and that is all you basically can do.

 

 

Sugar:::::what did you all do in Witichia This past week-------------------glad you had a good time witj Christian….i guess that is the one you went to Celebration city with this year.

ANDREW:::::sure glad that you have that settled about your fil and where he is going. And on top of that Susan may have a job how neat is that.

You aren’t much of a painter? Me neither. I always leave the painting to Joe. Maybe we will all make one great painter tho. Lol

Joe checked out the big A/C that is in the kitchen and it works. So hopefully it will help out a lot.

I am trying to figure out how we are going to get all the grass out of the area that we will be using for a bigger garden spot later on. It is thick too.

Glad you got the nursing home thing handled I know it was worrying you all a lot.

 

 

 

RIANNE:::: I can just see you and those kids having a good time in the tub lol or rather then in the tub , I use to think I got wetter than the kids did too.

Yes will keep reminding you about the meeting it will be the 23^rd of the month. We all would love to see you that is for sure. Mark it on your calendar, wall or forehead , maybe you would remember it then lol

Your dress in the pictures sure is beautiful but it looks very good on you .

Good Morning Everyone,

I thought I'd post before I went to bed, up kinda late tonight, been having trouble sleeping lately for some reason, guess with everything going on just have a lot on my mind.  

We heard from the Nursing Home in Forsyth today and they accepted the  FIL woohoo,  that was a big burden off our shoulders,  we were praying hard all day that they'd accept him.  She told us that they didnt see any reason why he should be in a lockup unit, they all read over his charts and all so that was such good news,  we will be taking him with us in the 12th when we go visit Jan and Joe a few days and work on the house, that will free us up from having to move him the same time as us which will be good.  

We finally got to talk to my brother in law today and told him we were moving, he was excited about us moving and all cuz he loves fishing and will want to come up and fish on the lake then we told him we were taking Dad with us and he wasnt a happy camper, even tho he never visits his dad, he hasnt visited him in the nursing home in over a  year, we took dad to see the brother in law at christmas to his house thats the last time he's seen him so we really dont feel bad about taking him with us.  

Other then all that the day was good, ran a few errands, made a few phone calls and before I knew it the day was done.

Jan thats so cool about you mowing the yard,  I know when I was able to mow the yard again I was all happy and like wow  LoL,  I really do love yard work now,  I cant wait to get up there and maybe plant a few things around and spruce the yard up and all, its gonna be great.  Thats great about the big AC in the kitchen, we have an almost new 10,000 btu AC unit also, so surely we'll stay cool in the hot part of the summer, plus we have some fans which we use alot instead of the A****il it gets hot.  Making the bigger garden spot will be so good,  I'll be so happy to help,  I just cant tell ya enough of how excited we are.  

Well I guess Im gonna try to get on to bed,  hope everyone has a great day,  hopefully the storms have all gone,  I think we re suppose to get some later in the week or weekend, not sure.

Morning Yall..... Looks like I'm set for a busy day again.....Guess I need to watch the news and see we are suppose to get any thunderstorms again.....Been so busy I haven't even got to watch the news. I took my neice to the doctor yeterday and she uses the same one I do...I went back to the room with her to help her with the kids and Dr. Valarie ask me how I was doing....I mentioned that it was my 1yr annv and she told me she was thrilled with how well I had done....She told me I looked great!!! Just tickled me pink lmbo..... And then my daughter brought me the Princess so she could stay the night and I could watch her today while she worked and she said ..Dang mom you have lost a lil more weight haven't ya.....I was like....YOU CAN TELL???? WOOOOOO HOOOOO!!! My mom took me to lunch before my sister and I took her to her doctor appt. My mom still can't stop worring about me not eating much lol lol.... It was so good....I did eat bout half of it cause she kep****ching me lol lol...but paid for it cause I kept spitting it back up for an hour later....We all three ordered a plate lunch and mine was pork and dressing......OMG it was soooooo good....But let me tell ya it don't taste near as good coming back up lol lol..... Thanks for all the posts and email congratulating me on my 1yr...It is SOOOOO WONDERFUL to have some where to come for such wonderful support and terrific friends.....I tell everyone I talk to that talks to me about weight loss or WLS about our site....And brag on you folks all the time.... I would like to appoligize for not posting any more than I do....I love you guys to death and hate that I don't get to respond to any more single posts than I do...But a lot of the time my life is so hectic I do good just to find time to get on the puter.....I seem to be the back bone for most of my family and my friends...and for the most I wouldn't have it any other way...but at times I just want to kick my self in the ??? for being so big hearted lol lol....Makes for me a lot more work than I want at times lol lol..... Jan....Thanks for the uplift on feeling like I can do the leader thing with our suppot group down this way.....You are such a sweetie and always so supportive....and I luv ya to death!!!! I know any group has to have some type of leadership or there wouldn't be any stuctureto it...But as you said I do plan on letting the group lead us thru it....Hopefully each meeting we can decide on what the next meeting will be about and they can decide what they would like to cover.......I will never at any time feel like it is my group and mine alone...My hope is to have a group that will become as close, thoughtful and caring as the COF....I have always felt so comfortable attending the COF support meetings and always felt welcome....I wish that I was able to attend more of the meetings there..... Janet.....I love you Sis..... And you have earned WINGS!!! I think you are a real sweetheart and think anyone would be blessed to have you as their angle.....And I do hope to pay it forward....I have had a couple Angeletts...but hate that I don't always have the time I would like to have to be a better Angel.....But will always hope to be as supportive as I can to anyone that begins this journey....It was  such a life changing event for me and I hope to share in the joy of many others going down the same road..... Ok...Before I close.....If you didn't happen to see my post asking for Prayers....Please pray for the family of my sons friend Martine.... Bubba friend Martine died Wed afternoon late after being electricuted in his back yard....The mom is single and the sisters are only 6 & 11 and their bubbie was like afather to them....I am helping the boys do a fundraiser to help with funeral costs...Please pray we do well at it so that it will help mom and the girls out!!!! Well, Good Afternoon All!!! I have been at my Mom's today since 7:30 helping her get her yard work done. UGH!!! We were trying to get it knocked out before the heat of the day which we did. Found a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) spider. It was so big that when I was mowing 10 foot away from it and I ay it moving across the grass, I thought it was a frog!!!! Mom flipped, she has arachnapobia. She was immediately on the phone to my Dad and her bug guy and I am now the proud possesor of a mason jar full of one flippin huge spider that o one can figure out what it is!!! Hey, I caught it, I keep it. I think I'll take it t the conservation dept guys down the road and give them the willies lol. After we got the lawn done, we filled up the wading pool and let the boys play while we "sunbathed" OY I am tired of being too fat to go to the pool. I am home at lunch time and put us all down for a nice little nap and I feel much better now. Regrettably, I have to go BACK out in the wind and heat tonight for my boy's ball practice. And I may have lost my mind cause I just started a pot of cheesy ham and tater soup for supper. Don't know why, but, it just sounds so good. Hopefully my gall bladder won't "reject" this too. Howdy all!  I know it's been a while, but it's been a couple of crazy weeks!!!  Last week, my husband's grandmother died.  She was 93 and has been suffering for some time, so this was a blessing for her.  This week I started back to school and I am WHOOPED!  Yesterday I walked a mile after school and today I had my second appointment with the head shrinker.  I haven't been online much, I have a TON of reading and homework to do.  Hey, it is summer school after all.

I measured myself today.  It's been a month since I started my slimfast diet and I took my measurements back then.  I have lost a total of 17.25 inches total all over my body.  I am down 34 pounds and I'm about to skip a pant size and go straight from a 22 to an 18!  My 18's fit, but I'm going to give them another week to be a little lose.  I'm very excited about all of this.  I'm feeling great surgery wise and now that I can eat, I'm feeling better all over. 

I hope you're all well, and will understand my coming and going as this is going to be a crazy busy summer!  I'll be driving to St. Louis on the 18th to give my son to my mother.  She's going to be keeping him for a week.  That weekend, my husband and I are going on a canoe float trip down in Arkansas and we're really looking forward to it.  Oh, and I have school stuff in there too!! lol  It's nice being on the losing side and feeling better and better day after day.
