Need Prayers in the Bootheel..For my son and his friends family!!
Hello yall....
Dropping in to ask for some special prayers....
My son lost one of his best friends Tuesday evening late....His name was Martine...He was 19....He got electricuted at outside his home in his back yard....There were a few friends there at the time it happened and once they got him knocked a loose they tried CPR but could not bring him back.....
This is the first time my son has to deal with close friend and he keeps trying to be tough but I'm worried about Friday at the funeral.
When I got the phone call I was driving....My daughter Christina called me cause she was worried about Bubba....I like to have not made it home I was so upset......It's only been 2 weeks since Bubs car accident and I remembered how I felt when I got the call....Then when I got there and he was standing out side the car, relief washed over me but I was not satisfied till I got across that ditch and got my hands on him... After hearing about Martine all I could do is thank God that he had blessed me and let me keep my son....My kids are my life!!!! I can't imagine how parents find the strength to get thru such a terrible thing as loosing a child.....
We went to see her (the mother) yesterday to talk to her about setting out cans and doing a fund raiser cause she had no life insurance on him....When I got out of the car his youngest sister that is about 6 came up and hugged my leg and said....my bubby got shockedded and he had to go away for ever.....I almost fainted right there on the spot.....My heart dropped to my feet cause I was so heart broken for her.....
There is also an 11 yr old sister....The mother was a single mother and works at a produce factory....Martine always babysetted for her and helped her with the cooking and house...He was really a good kid....He had them girls with him at all times....I know they are all 3 going to be lost with out him.....
So please pray the mother has the strength to get thru this and for the sisters who are so young and have to be without a great big brother.....
Pray for my son .....And that our fund raising goes good and we can help greatly with the funeral.....The funeral home here in Campbell has taken him and has offered to do the funeral and work with her on how she pays for it.....
We hope to get the cans out today and then I am going to help all the boys get a car wash set up for a week from this Saturday....Pray we make lots...Even if someone helps her with the funeral, she will still have a little she can use to help her and the girls out.....

Tammy, My heart goes out to you and your son. I know this much be hard for him to handle. Just reassure him there is a reason for these things,and to let him know his friend is still with him always.My prayers go out for you also...God Bless...Craig Lee
