My three year old niece pressed on my stomach very hard tonite about 5:00p and I had a very yerrible pain in my upper left side of my stomach right below the breast line. And ever since then I have had alot of pain in my upper stomach area and it goes thru to my back. And everytime I move my right arm back wards it sends sharp pains thru my right side of my stomach. I am four months out. Could she have hurt anything with my pouch? The pain ia about a 8 on a 1-10 scale. What should I do? Thanks, Tammy V.

Call your doctor in the morning, That's where your residual stomach is and it might have hit a tender spot.

I talked to Dr. Hornbostel and he said that at four months out she shouldn't of been able to hurt anything major. He said she may have hit somewhere that is still alittle bruised and still sore. He said to put a heating pad on it. If it gets worse to go to the ER and run some blood work.

Thanks for your help, Tammy V.

Hi Tammy, I just saw this post now-I hope you are already feeling better.  I had that same thing happen to me when I was just a couple of months out-and I was told that I had pulled a muscle and that I could have bruised an organ. If your still having problems tho, please dont take any chances with it-its not worth it!  Please keep us posted and we will keep you in our prayers.  Hope you feel better.  Janet

Thanks Janet,I feel a little better today. It still hurts but not like last night. Dr. Hornbostel thought it was a muscle also. Thanks again. Take care and God Bless, Tammy V.
