Just thought I would introduce myself!

Well, I am just beginning the journey, and thought I would introduce myself. I have an appointment with Dr. Hornbostel toward the end of June. I have turned all my paperwork into them and I am reading, reading, reading about the surgury.  I do have a question, I noticed that Dr. Hornbostel has a site on here himself, but it doesn't seem to be a forum like this. Am I missing something? Is there a link to a forum or is that message board all there is.  Anyway, I hope to get to know you guys.  Liz

Hi Liz, WELCOME~ What a journey your on, alright.... This is going to be like one of the wildest rides you have been on-but at the end and your getting off-you would ride it all over again...LOL... We would love a chance to get to know you-so come on in and meet us all and ask all the questions you can think of-there is nothing in here too small, too big or too uncomfortable-most of us are open books and we will answer you honestly, and no matter what you may think-like I am the only one with this problem and such (I know I did) I promise you, a lot of us anyway-have had the same issues and thought we were the only ones too-LOL.... Hello Liz, As everyone here has told you, it will be a wild ride but a great and fun one too! I can say that now, but wouldnt have a year ago. All of us have had and continue to have issues that sometimes get us down or riled up, but that is why we have each other...to use as sounding boards. Ask anything and tell all you find along the way. We will continue to learn from all the newbies. Here is praying for a safe and successful surgery and for you to always feel welcome here amoung all of us here on the MO OH board. Jump in anytime.

Hi Liz, I am pre-op and have to tell you I have found a very comfy home here on the Missouri Board.  I have learned a wealth of information and made some treasured friends in the past year and a half. Welcome..... jump right in.
