WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Jan C.
on 6/11/08 2:43 pm - Cedar Creek, MO

Work work work and more work. Joe ask me if we were ever going to get done? I told him when we got done with the rental we have to finish up the guest house , just have too and by then our house will need some tlc here and there. Lol

Maybe after the rental is done or almost done will take him someplace to hide out for a couple of days lol Or just put him in the bed and shut the bedroom door and tell him to not get up until he is ready lol  He can sure sleep like you wouldn’t believe.

Well Susan and Andrew will be here for a couple of days starting Thursday. We have work lined out for them lol

All the walls except for the Kitchen need to be primed and so do the ceilings. Also all the windows need washing and cleaning up. Want to power wash the outside of the house too. Don’t know if that will get done while they are here or not tho.

Am excited about seeing Susan and Andrew. It has been awhile since I saw them. They are great people.

Went to the first day of opening of the new walmart store on highway 65 in Branson. WOW what a store, it is huge. And I mean huge. They said it was the biggest store that wal mart has built , I think,

Bought some groceries that we needed and some pills. Think that was all. , went across the street to Home depot and got a neat medicine cabinet for the rental house and also a bar light for above the cabinet , was going to buy a new faucet and etc for the bath tub but all they had in stock was the ones that are 160 dollars and on up. Now Andy and Susan I love you all but  no way ….160 dollars for a water faucet lol

ANDREW:::::got the cell phone number ok and am waiting for you all to arrive. Will pray that you all have a good trip and have no problems …

Does the fil travel well  that far?

The time has gone by far too quickly for us since we aren’t anywhere near done. But like I said in the letter to you . demo and repairs goes a lot slower than just paint and powder do lol

VESTA::::oh wow that is wonderful that the log house stayed in the family so you will be able to go get some starts from her. Lol

I will save you some seeds of a little big of everything for you. Ok

Vesta im going to hold you to that about coming down for a visit.

Im glad that you are going to quit worring about your son. I know that is easier said than done isnt it. Do they ever get too old for us to worry about?

SUGAR::::: oh the girl from Osage beach (heylookits angie) she is originally from Fredericktown. Just was kidding her that we might be kin but isnt too far off I don’t think. Never know that is for sure.

I am so glad for you that you got to spend such quality time with Kenan. And you sure are braver than me with the water slide thing. Lol glad you are a cool grammy tho, cause I think you are a cool sister.

I keep looking for an 8 passenger van too , I guess there weren’t that many of them made you think, and the next bigger one the 12 passenger one is dangerous , they are so top heavy they turn over easily.

DEBBIE   M::::::the honey suckle will climb a trellis or wall or anything . it is a vine and likes to travel. Im sure you could plant them in what ever but be sure and give them something to twine up , you wouldn’t want to cut the tops out of them as they might not bloom next year . I wouldn’t plant them too close to other plants because they will climb it and smother it out.

Oh yes I looked at your other pictures , how lovely I want to walk down that pathway by the old barn and under those beautiful trees along the river. What river is that? Niguanna? (sp) you are really lucky to have such a beautiful place to walk daily, make an excellent place to commune with God.

So have we had any news yet about the baby being born yet?

TAMMY-AMMY::::: Hey it is probably the light bulb that is attracting those kids like that lol TURN IT OFF FOR GOSH SAKES. >>>>You and Joe deserve to have some peace and quite.

I am praying that Bubba make the best decision and that you are able to live with it no matter what you feel at this time.

So sorry that you didn’t have any people last night for your meeting. What happened to the people that told you they would be there. That is sad but don’t give up yet. It takes awhile to get it known,

Will be praying for you on your way to St. Louis . You know if you have the tummy tuck done and then you lose another 60 -70 pounds you will have a belly fat again and it will need doing again. but I know that a lot of people that had been out about a year and they were complaining about tummys  one girl had it done and then had to have another one done.

So you want to be a nurse? It is good when you  can find a  good job don’t know what they pay over there but here if I work at the nursing home in Forsyth I get 20.00 an hour plus other pay. So it is a fair living anyway.

JANET:::: yes I like safe too. So hope you have heard and that it is ok? So let us know all the news, good or bad ok? Oh an your other news ? Yes? No?

Is Megan and Aaron living at the motel?

Hope you do well at the flea markets. I think I would spend more than I made there. Lol

My kids and I use to camp out in our yard a lot when they were little. With being a single mother and working two jobs most of the time there wasn’t any time to pack all of the stuff up and drive somewhere so I would stop on the way home and buy all the camping foods and when I got home would get out the camp stuff , stove , lantern , ice chest etc etc we would go out and pitch the tent build a fire and cook supper out side and sleep in the tent. We had a good time.

Hey you are welcome anytime, come on down and I will make you what ever you want to eat. Ok

Sounds like a really good book, I have two different ones like that. Help keep you on track if you take the time to do them daily.

DEBBIE   D::::: lol I got a good laugh out of your not being pregnant don’t guess it would have been funny if it had been  true. Lol

VBS sounds like fun , have a great day doing it.

TAMMY  V::::I Know you are very excited about going to see your grandbabies.

I didn’t see your pictures on the computer just a lot of picrtures of your nieces and nephews lol  cute kids.

I bet everyone thought your brother would be single the rest of his life didn’t they

ANGIE:::: Im going back to Fredericktown the first of August as it is or class reunion. Im  excited about it. Hope I recognize everyone.

I would hate to see what 5 kids could eat in a week. That would surely bust the budget wouldn’t it.?

Oh Cottonmom, love the new pictures. You are shrinking. By the minute. And so beautiful

Well boys and girls going to wrap this up and get it posted here in a little bit.

Love everyone

GOD BLESS

Good Morning!  Well, the muscles sure are sore from all the stair climbing at WW and it was a great thing that I had a massage scheduled for yesterday...she said she sure hadnt ever felt my leg muscles so tight before...lol! I (MAY) be getting too old to do all that stuff...but I am NOT going to quit until I just absolutely cant do it at all. I missed out so many years because of the bad knees and then the fat! I refuse to give into age! lol It is like you said about how tired you are after working all day on the rental, a good tired and you can go right to sleep. That is how it has been when I come home from the parks with the kids,,,a very good tired. One lady called me about a van yesterday and I am supposed to be able to go look at it today. It is a little older than I wanted (an 03) but says it is the top of the line and in excellent shape, one owner....so I will go look at it. It is the Warner Brothers edition which has the dvd system in it and all for the kids... Well, tell Andrew and Susan I said hello and welcome to our neck of the woods. What does Susan do? You said she would probably work in Forsythe??? Hope you all get alot of stuff done soon so you can have a day to relax and think about having that shoulder and knee worked on.

Morning All.... Not back up to par yet but doing a little better....thanks for the prayers!! JAN...yes, thank you, I have been blessed with a beautiful pathway to the Lord's heart! I find Him there every time I go for a walk! No rivers on the property, just 2 ponds and 2 creeks...it is all on 7+acres. We try to keep it mowed and keep the big limps and stuff up but the rest of it we pretty much leave alone for the critters.  It is a beautiful place to walk, wonder, think and dream! The most precious moments are when I go to seek the silence I need to be with our Lord! When I need to feel His presence, to hear His heart!  We have had many conversations out there! The first one was right after I lost my brother to cancer at the young age of 40. Jesus brought me back to life that day! If I keep going along those lines though, I will be doing a sermon instead of a post....lol  I do love our Lord!....He IS awesome!! Don't you think? No babies yet! I'm on that phone every time it pings though....lol As for the honeysucke....the whiskey barrels would sit at the corner posts of my fence which means that the honeysuckle would grow up and onto the fence, probably taking in down....hmm  Maybe I will plant it on the backside of David's garage. There is nothing there and I need something there to cover that big ugly blank wall. I was going to plant climbing roses there but they didn't take. Not enough "good" drainage there, I think. I will need to read and see what kind of soil and drainage honeysuckle vine needs. This will growing right next to my garden so I will have to keep a close eye on it but man...what a wonderful smell to smell as I'm working out there! JANET...What a wonderful friend you are! You always know what to say to make me smile, no matter how low or sick I am....thank you!  You'll have to come up and try my deer rifle, it's a Browning 700 mag w/ a Leupold scope....it's nice! Trust me, that's what you will want after you have seen her and tried it. As for the re-vowing....if I get it pulled together you guys will get invites as to when and where! A tummy tuck? WooHoo! and like you don't look good enough already! Oh well, it will enhance the beauty you already have! I plan on having something like that done too! That is, if everything works out alright for me with this stuff I got going right now, and it will! ....a maybe gramby??...cool!! Keep us updated!! I'm glade your going to see Steph....you need that, your heart needs that! We will be praying for a "good" visit....you both need it, as well as Jon! ANDREW...you 3 have a safe trip! We will be praying for all of you and a safe trip! We will pray that Jan doesn't work ya's to death too!...lol I think you all will have a great time! VESTA...how you feeling after your surgery? Up and around? Happy with the results? Where is your doc located, if I may ask? Well, I'm running out of speed, need to rest! Love & Prayers, Deb M

Good Morning Missouri Thursday: Had too much trouble yesterday so will write yesterdays post again and then some more for today and hope I can get this actually sent. Wednesday: I am waiting for it to get light so I can go out and mow.  Just have to get that done before it gets hot. Had a full day yesterday going to the Dr. with my sis.  Found a great sale at Hobby Lobby on some pieces I needed for the guest room I will be doing in the future.  I told earlier of a piece of art I am making with my girls school pictures... I found the metal decorative pieces for the tops, clearanced out for $6 along with some other iron pieces... crosses ($2 & $5) to make an arrangement and an iron coat hook ($3) for the back of the door.  Will have to paint them though... Jan, you would use them just like they are! ~tee hee.  It will be so fun to see that room come together.  I recently found a nearly new queen size mattress set for $100 but do not have the room to store it so had to pass, hopefully I will be able to find another when I need it. I also found a large grape and ivy stamp for the back ground to my jar fountain.  I have been looking for over a year for those... spent a considerable amount of time on the net searching, when I could not find them in the stores... but lo and behold I found them all yesterday... was great!  Seems like you go and find nothing and then sometimes you go and just what you need is right there!  Love it!  Maybe now I can finish that project. Today I have to get the mowing done, it is to rain again tomorrow and Friday...

I sure have been enjoying my hydraneas this year!  They are loaded with blooms.  I go out and look at them several times a day and thank the Lord for them ... especially after all the trouble I've had getting them started.... I've spent $40 on them then $20 on them only to have them die out and not come back the next year... what do you think is thriving?  The $4.50 clearance one!  Don't that just "figger"?  I planted 7 of them in a row and they are just doing wonderful!  I did move them to a new place on the "east" side of the house... I guess they like it there... and all the prayers I prayed over them helped I'm sure!  When I planted them this last time I said this is the last time I'm doing this if they don't make it I'm giving up... I've wasted enough $$$ on them!  Once again the Lord gave me the desire of my heart! I am praying for all the upcoming surgeries.  I know those of you that are coming up are happy, excited, and nervous... so good to have One to leave our anxieties with!

Sheila, am praying that you are able to get some rest now and enjoy some "quiet" without all the people in you house.  Asking the Lord to work out this problem with the implants. Vesta, praying also that you are able to get a measure of peace about your son and his situation.  Also that you will soon be done with your remodeling project and able to enjoy the fruits of your labor.  I know you must be just thrilled that your log home will stay in the family... how cool is that! Andrew safe travels buddy.  Pray that you are able to get your loved one all settled in the new facility, and that your time with Joe and Jan is fun and productive at the same time. Janet dear lady, you are simply a doll!  Thank you for thinking of me with the book!  I will be praying that you find just the right person to give it to!  There is such inspiration and hope in it's pages and I know there is someone that needs it's very words of encouragement... be sure and read today's portion.... it's a good one!  It's nearly time to get the pedometer on and get busy.  I have been walking right at 10,000 steps per day... does any one know what the normal average is? A blessed and good day to all, bec Now for today (Thursday): Well I did get outside yesterday and get the mowing done... it was so nice out there!  I was able to push the mower for a straight hour with no resting and no pain meds!  That is a first this year!  I was thankful... Seems I have not had to take any pain meds for the past few days.  This is great.  I had pushed and then rode the yard and by that time Paul was getting home from work and made me a nice tall trellis to put the hyacinth plant that I had started from some seed that Jan had given me... I also got a couple of castor bean plants in the ground... they are just starting to come up.. I have so many new things to watch this year.   I have been looking for two armoires for some time now... I want a small computer one and one to put in the guest room for guest to hang their hanger clothes and put their bags in... well yesterday my daughter and I was talking and I realized I had a way to make the computer armoire from cabinet I will be having to move out of the dining room.  My sil's house burnt recently and the insurance company totaled her new dining room set for smoke damage... well I got it and am going to clean it up and restore it... will be a huge job as it has all the victorian looking carvings in the backs of the chairs... the nice thing is they match my barstools in the kitchen and my other woodwork.  Well, I have a white cabinet in the dining room that I store my china in that will no longer do... I realized that with a few minor adjustments I could have a computer armoire made out of it... how cool is that and it will only cost me a few dollars... I am going to repaint the outside with a crackle paint, the inside is white.  Now I only need one more for the guest room.  I want to find and inexpensive one... even if I have to redo it to suit the style of the room I am decorating... but it seems they are hard to find... It is raining here this morning so am sure glad I got that yard work done yesterday...  I have been scheduled for the sleep study for July 21 and the C-Pap fitting if I need it for August 26th... I am going to call and get myself put on a cancellation list right away... hopefully I will be able to get it taken care of sooner than that. I hope each of you have a wonderful day, take a moment to look around you and see what you have to be thankful for. Great Big Blessings to each, bec

Dear Jan and OH Peeps~

Found out yesterday that my oldest daughter has her blood test to show if she is pregnant today. We should know the results today. Wanted to go with her because I know some people that do the lab work in Neosho and IF they were working, I may be able to sweet talk them into giving us the answer before they fax the results to the doctor, but I cant go with her because I am suppose to meet Stephanie today.

Just thinking about hugging that kid makes me well up with tears. I miss her so much. I thought time was suppose to help? I feel it more and more as the days go by-how much I miss her. I pass her room and start to cry. I have even found myself thinking I need to go get her (out of her room) for dinner or whatever. This STINKS!~ I know, I know-but I cant help it. I am a worrier by nature I guess, and I just hate that I dont know how she is and if she is okay or if she needs anything etc etc. I want so bad for everything to be alright and thats what I am aiming for-so will see. I have been praying about it and trying to just give it all to the good Lord and know that HE knows what she needs and so I ask for protection over her. When I asked her if she needed anything from the house when I see her today she just asked me if I could bring Jon with me. He sure does miss her and I think it will be nice for him to see her. He sure loves her a lot and asks about her every single day.

The one that stinks is that I am sick right now. I am hoping and praying that it goes away so I can meet her this afternoon. I cant go like this. Yuck. I have actually got a fever right now......not sure what the heck is going on. The doctors ofc said that I just had some bruising-I probably pulled some tummy muscles in my fall and bruised my "innerds". He said I was a mess. Someone pays you to tell me that, I asked him and we both laughed. I know that already....he said he was admiring the "art" work on my legs and back of my different and lovely colored bruises-you would think that I got in a car accident or something the way I look. PLUS-my chest, back, and arms-all burned-they all blistered up-now if thats not gross, and painful. So-I had that all over me as well. Cant even hold my purse on my shoulder because it hurts too much.

Megan just text me and she is on her way to the dr to pick up her order and head to the lab. I will be okay with whatever happens-I just hope that if she is pregnant, that they dont move so far away that I dont get to spend a lot of time with my little grandbaby.

I would just like to take a moment to ask for prayer over a personal matter. I feel very peaceful about some very difficult decisions I have made in my life this week, and I just would like prayer that things dont get out of control and bad things come of it. Thanks.

Also-lets pray that Tammy H, Andrew and Susan and the FIL all have travelers mercy today-they all have a ways to go today.

**Jan-yes, Megan and Aaron are there at the motel for the summer. They have the place right next to Kenny and they do the laundry 5 days a week to pay for their rent. Since they both do 2 different jobs besides the laundry-I do go in on the days they both have something to do and do it for them on those days and they just give me some gas money. I feel like its a way to help them-and I want them to be able to get something put away for a nice place or whatever they are going to do. Ecspically now, if they are going to be having a baby-they will need every cent. They made a comment about moving in here now since Steph is gone and I told them thats NOT an option. There is NO WAY I could afford to feed Aaron, no way at all......and keeping food seperate wouldnt work-because they have lived with my mom and he would eat her stuff when they ran out of food-so I just think it would be way more problems in the long run and they have a place-so its not like they are homeless..... Love them, but I do know its better off this way.

I cant wait to camp with the boys. Mike and I have been trying to do things with them because things have been so crazy around here, and they have been upset and tense too-so we have been doing all kinds of different things with them and they both want to put the tent up and camp in the yard-so thats what were gonna do-and we are gonna leave the gates open, because when we leave them open-the bunnies come in there in full force and we love to watch them out there eating and playing. We are due to get severe weather on and off through Friday night tho-so not sure if the camping will take off this weekend or not. Then more crappy weather for Sunday-so we wont be swimming Sunday if that happens.

Oh-forgot to post this-Darrel was trying to catch a lizard-and its tail came off in his hand-and 5 minutes later-the tail was still wiggling and moving around when he put it down. I almost threw up-that was just nasty! They have been trying to get the wild kingdom collection going again. Yesterday on our way to town, we got around the corner and there were 2 trantulas in the road-holy crap-they were bigger than the one we took out of the pool.....GROSS! Dont mind the cute little turtle and the lightening bugs-can do without the snakes, spiders and lizards.

Hope you have a good time with Andrew and Susan. Cant wait to hear what all you get accomplished-Im sure it will be a lot. Just dont overdo it.

**Deb M-your so funny! Mike says Im not allowed to come and see your collection of firearms, he doesnt want me asking for any of that fancy stuff-LOL.....I asked him what my shotgun was and he told me and now I have forgotten already....All I know is that I have only done target practice, we went turkey hunting and I didnt get to shoot him. Darn it. I know when we put in the ammo for the real hunting and practiced with that-that I thought my shoulder was going to split in 2-AND that was with one of those shoulder protector/absorber deals-Youch!

I just know that your gonna be fully recovered and on your way REAL SOON! The Lord has a lot of plans for you, Debbie-and I know he isnt going to let you stay down. Besides-you cant keep a good woman down!! I cannot wait to hear about all the plans you make for your big anniversary. I love the big anniversarys-its such a testiment to true love-and anyone who has been married that long and is still in love-they deserve to have a celebration of their love-and like I said-its such a true testimony to true love and an inspiration!!! Mike is my soul mate-I have NO doubts about that EVER-but marriage is work, and you have to want to give and compromise once in awhile. Its not always fun and games. But, when your married to your best friend, it sure is easier, isnt it? By the way-how is David? How are his feet or his legs, I cant remember which were giving him so many problems? I pray for you, David and your children all the time, Deb-everyday. I have a list on my computer desk and it is part of my daily prayers, because I dont ever want to forget anyone-I am forgetful if I dont have that list. Anyway-Love you and I cannot wait to hear your much, much better. You invite me to that day of celebration and I promise you I will do my best to come.....(can I still have that ride on the Harley? I will put on my "fat outfit" I saved and stuff it with pillows so I dont look thin or pretty-I will buy some of those hillbilly teeth and tease my hair so it looks like a rats nest-LOL...) David may see me like that and tell you no way is that vagrent (sp?) getting a ride on my Harley-LOL.... Love ya.

**Bec-I know that the Lord will lay it on my heart to give that book to someone, I know he will. I cant wait to get volume 1. I will get crackin on that soon.

I LOVE Hydrangas. (sp?) They are one of my favorites. What color do you have? Those are Megans favorites as well.... Sounds like you were busy yesterday. Im glad you got it all done and no pain meds, how awesome is that? Can you imagine what your gonna be like when you get the surgery? There will probably be skid marks all over your yard where you tore it up from being so quick-LOL....Im happy for you. The furniture sounds awesome too-I LOVE to redo furniture. Havent done it in a long time due to my fatness and now I dont have a room for it-but I will soon, so I may have to get back into that. Take pics-would love to see before and after.

We are suppose to get severe weather here this afternoon, all the way through tomorrow night on and off-and then Saturday suppose to be nice and more rain on Sunday....which means we wont be swimming at our get together for Fathers Day. (or camping in the severe weather). Thanks for all the compliments. Love you too.

**Deb D-I chuckled to myself when I read your post yesterday and you said you werent pregnant, thank goodness-I know if I wasnt "fixed" that I would worry about that on a regular basis and I would just probably crawl in a hole if I found out I was-LOL...Jon was a late in life baby-so I have a 22, 17 1/2, and 5 that are mine and my stepson, who is 14, but have been with him since he was 3. Anyway-getting pregnant with Jon sure wasnt in our plans-Mike and I didnt feel like we needed a child together like some couples do-we were fine with the ones we had-and I hated going to the OB/GYN and people looked at me (Fat AND Old) and they always wanted to run EXTRA tests, cause-Oh my, shes over 35-and I refused ALL of them. Anyway-Im glad your not-since your glad. I am praying for your children and I know the good Lord will watch out for them as they witness to others. Cant remember if your hubby is with them or not-but I pray for him as well. Hope you feel better soon-do you have any ideas what else they are gonna look for? Are you just having general female issues? I have to go have a D&C and possibly a hysterectomy-my issues have been pretty extreme this past year. Thinking of you and I cant wait to see you again. Do you think you might be able to make it to the reunion this year? In Sept?

**Bev-You look Amazing!!!!! Way to go girl! Oh-and I didnt touch any bread for almost a yr-just didnt care to-didnt want to-now I may eat 1/2 pc of bread, wheat or whole grain, maybe every 2 months. Its just not something I care about anymore. Plus-when it gets in the pouch, it blows up like a balloon and it just takes up too much room......not worth it to me. Hope that you continue to strive and good luck finding a job.

**Sheila-let me know what happens with the Prosecuting Attorney today. They should put that jerk behind bars where he belongs, I cant believe he is out there free with all he has done. I hope they will pay attention to his case now since your bringing it to their attention. It was good "talking" to you last night. Praying for you and take it easy and let us know how it goes, ok?

**Vesta-thanks for the info on the plastics. I think I am far enough out to get it done now. I know that I dont have 50-60# to lose. At the most, I am guess maybe 25-29#....do you think thats close enough? I think I may get down to a 10 sz wise when the apron is gone. Mike says it will be less than that since I can wear a 12 now and my apron is huge to me-but I am thinking a couple of inches at the least and prob a couple of pounds-did they tell you how much weight wise they took off you? How many sizes pant wise did you go down? To have real "girls" Im afraid I would be looking at them in the mirror all the time and saying to myself-I cant believe these perky boobs are mine.....LOL...I guess that will be okay as long as I dont do it in public-huh? LOL... Thanks again and you and your family are in my prayers. Love ya.

Well, I am going to close for now. I hope everyone has a good day today. Tell your loved ones you love them and as always, your in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Janet

JANET... LOL!! You guys got me going on that one! Almost hurt myself laughing so hard!  Yea, she's a little pricey but well worth it! The truth be know though, Mike's probably afraid I will be teaching you how to shoot mice through the ceiling! With that shotgun of yours...he won't be wanting that!!...lol Your a redneck when? :)  I had what they call an elephant pad put on the end of my 700 just for that reason...to protect my shoulder.  I know your right about the Lord not being done with me! I just get to feeling real bad sometimes and satan likes to dig in, during those times. I have our Lord on my side and all of your alls prayers so satan doesn't stick around long. That's why I ask for backup when I need it...Thanx again Hun!! The revow plans are nothing real big. I have my eye on this tiny, old country church out here in the middle of no where. I'm going to talk with my Pastor to see if he can get us access to it. We will just have a little get together afterwards here at my property with everyone bringing a dish so it doesn't cost us an arm and a leg.  Getting our vows done in a church instead of Vegas will make me feel a lot better when I get to heaven and will be standing before the Lord....may be silly to some, but not to me! Being with someone for 25 years is a testament to something, just not sure what...lol  Thank you hun, all kidding aside...there is a lot of work that has to be put into a marriage...a lot of give and take, mainly give and never lose the communication! If you can't talk and even more importantly, listen your usually fighting a losing battle! Always keep those lines open!  It most definitely helps having your best friend/soulmate as your lifetime partner! David and I had a very rough start but over the years we, both have learned a lot! I always had the fear in the back of my head that if I became ill, would he stick around?  Well, I most definitely have that answer now and no fears about him walking out on me. He is my bestest friend now! :) As for the pain, my hubby...lol The pain starts in his feet and moves up into his legs. It's still bad but he is supposed to get a procedure done next Weds that will put some type of electrical stimulants in his back to help. This time will be temporary but if it works, they will go back and place them in there permently...we both are praying that it works and that his heart won't mess up again so they can go through with the surgery....Lord, Please?? Girl!!....you were killing me with this next paragrah...was LMBBO!!  can I still have that ride on the Harley? I will put on my "fat outfit" I saved and stuff it with pillows so I dont look thin or pretty-I will buy some of those hillbilly teeth and tease my hair so it looks like a rats nest.  David may see me like that and tell you no way is that vagrent (sp?) getting a ride on my Harley...lol No, you can't ride the Harley with him dressed like that! That's the kind of woman he likes!! LOL!! Seriously, I'm sure he will let you ride, no matter what you look but trust me, you will have a lot more fun just being yourself! I'm a freebird when I'm on there (when David is aware and only on country roads, I relax back and let the wind carry my arms up and out , I close my eyes and I'm free, totally free as he coasts right on down the road)....love it!!Love u...Bye for now!! Good Afternoon Jan & MO Peeps:

Wow, is it muggy here today.  Had a couple errands to run today and it was hard to breathe once I stepped out of the air conditioned car.  I think we’re supposed to have thunderstorms again this evening.  Please keep the BSA in your prayers.  The camp in IA wa**** hard, I think like 4 died and 40 others are hurt, some seriously.  They were attending the Brown Sea Training Camp.  That’s the same training my youngest, Jake, will be taking this coming week at Camp Naish in Bonner Springs, KS .  Please pray for his safety.

I noticed Bec had a hard time posting yesterday too.  Mine was really messed up.  I typed it in word and copied and pasted it TWICE to the OH board.  Both times there were two important things that weren’t in there.  One, Luke, my oldest is in Tokyo, and the second is that Pastor Ashok is from .  Wonder why those two pieces of info were left out of the message?  Think it’s a conspiracy?  Lol

Jan – you work too hard!  After the rental house is done, I think you and Joe should do whatever you want for at least a month – except work that is!  I know you; you would get bored with that real soon!

Janet – I am going to take the Provera for 5 days and see if it helps my cycle start back up.  I’m not going to start them until Luke gets home which will be a week from today.  I am hoping to be able to come to the reunion.  I will have to drive Luke’s car again.  It gets the best gas mileage out of all our cars at the moment.  Is it going to be at the same place it was last year?

Mel – how are you?  I hope you and Terry are doing okay.  I want you to know you both are in our prayers.

Well, I’d better go.  Seems like I am soooooo tired all the time.  I HATE it!  Going to go lay down for an hour or so.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Hi Everyone!  Jan - I used to have relatives in Fredrickstown.  Spents several summers on their place.  Aunt Daisy & Uncle Howard Staley (sp) were such nice people.  She was my paternal great-aunt.    I have fallen twice in the last 24 hours but am ok except for a few new bruises.  Am wearing the sandals the therapist recommended to help strengthen my feet.  They are Berkinstocks that I got at a garage sale for 25 cents - regular price of $119/pr..  Beats the heck out of the $2000 braces per foot.  He won't let me get rid of the cane yet but am so thankful that I can move my feet.  No feeling in them yet but am hopeful!   Cherries are ready to be picked so will start that after my dr. appointment this afternoon.  Will have green beans in the next couple of weeks.  I am not ready for them.  Most of the tomatos are blooming and some pepper plants have blooms.  I am back up to 148 lbs. and am still trying to gain.  I got into a size medium scrub set the other day but I like my tops a little more roomy.Take care - Shannon
