I would be happy to have the meetings at my house on Saturdays.  We live right off Cookingham &  I-435.  Check your calendars and see if Saturday, June 21st at 1:00pm works for everyone.  I'm very flexible, and want to be sure the dates and times are okay. I will contact the members here that have a support group and get an idea as to what they do at their meetings. I'm 7 months out from surgery so I can  talk about my decision to begin this life-changing journey.   Be thinking of a group name and be ready with your ideas at to what you want to learn from the monthly meetings. The 21st will be an organization meeting.  My home is very kid friendly, as we have 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter that have a play room here at Nana's. Let me know about the meeting date.  I look forward to meeting you and finally talk with others who have begun this incredible journey. Check out my before and after pic on my profile.

God Bless,
Trudy

Hello Trudy,      This is Kerri the date sounds great.  However I will just be getting back from church family camp and my girls have a birthday/swim party to attend.  I will not allow them to go to a pool with out me due to the fact they do not really know how to swim that good.  I would love to have it the 3rd Saturday of each month, it sounds great.  I will think of some names for our group and then we will be on our way.  Thanks again and blessings to you. Kerri

Hi there Trudy! What a wonderful invitation!  I'm also in your local area and am getting prepared for Lap RNY on the 30th of June!  Wow!  I will be attending the support group meeting on the 18th sponsored by my dr.'s bariatric center, although would love to meet others in the area that have also had the surgery or getting ready to! The 21st seems like it should be okay, so will wait to hear additional information!!  Thanks, Shelley
